The place you go to when you can’t think of anywhere to go. Good food, cheap, sizeable meals. The food comes out fast.

This is one of my favourite Asia chain restaurants. Every time I dine here I always leave satisfied. My daughter always orders dumplings and I admit I love their Nasi Lamek, so I always order that and we both get bubble tea drinks. It’s ferociously fast service for a very reasonable price. I guess the only drawback is how cramped it is near the cash register at the entrance. If diners arrive past 7.00pm there is often a bottleneck, but everyone seems pretty cheerful about it so it’s no big deal.

Open late night, cheap and a menu filled with lots of typical Asian dishes. Guess you can say this place reminded me a lot of home in the San Gabriel Valley, especially the cafes opened until the early AM on Valley Blvd and all the youngins coming in to get their midnight «snack».
After a late night flight from Sydney, this was the perfect comfort food. From porridge and fried rice/​noodles to soup noodles and entrees with rice, I was so happy to see a part of the SGV in Melbourne, in menu-​form!
Definitely recommend this spot for any hungry midnight crawlers!
