Surprisingly good tasting Italian for the price. Service was okay, decore and ambience definitely lacking so not a great date place but good for family meals. Can get cold in winter and autumn bring a coat. Rates 3.5 really

Good ambience. Food was tasty and good service. A little pricey if you are on a budget

For the middle of Glen Waverley, Pescare is not a bad Italian themed restaurant. I have always found the food to be nice. A bit overpriced, especially considering the abundance of cheap Asian eateries around Kingsway, but they definitely deliver on taste. My personal favourite here is the veal scallopine. It’s also a good choice when going to the movies, as it is right opposite.

An Italian restaurant located in century city walk, despite its size(large) I always forget about pescare’s presence in Glen Waverley. It never springs to mind and I wouldn’t ever think of it unless I was standing right in front and being beckoned in. Don’t get me wrong-there’s nothing wrong with the place, it’s just that it’s stuck in the corner and seems to be forgotten amongst all the other in your face restaurants of Glen Waverley. I have eaten here once before and found it to be okay. The lighting was a little on the dim side, and the table service-though not bad, could have been better. I ordered the eggplant parma, which was extremely rich and hearty– I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, however towards the end of the dish the richness had got to me. I must make a comment that our orders did take a while to arrive; we must have been waiting 20+minuets for the mains to arrive. Maybe its because our garlic bread plate was still on the table so they wouldn’t serve up the mains until the plate was gone… but no one came to take the plate when we had finished with it. Overall I had a pleasant meal here, the prices were okay and I really did enjoy my meal. Not 100% sure if I would come back here, probably would, wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t though.

In an area with many, many choices for dining, Pescare has been relatively successful for a long time. It is generally quite a busy place — like virtually every place that offers food of any description in the vicinity. It has a modern-ish sort of a feeling to it. It has a pleasant atmosphere about it. The waiting staff are extremely polite and take pride in their work, and every time I go, I am impressed with the standard of service. The food itself is a bit variable. While generally it is quite good, I’ve had a couple of fairly negative experiences too. Maybe it depends on what you order. The rib eye steak is usually cooked to the desired amount, and is pretty tender. The prices are a bit above what I would expect to pay, but not by that much. For example, the rib eye is $ 33.
