Used this place a few times. Not a bad store at all. There’s such a large number of Asian grocery stores in the vicinity, so it’s nice to see some Indian/​Sri Lankan/​Pakistani stores opening up.
I went in there with my wife just recently. I’d bought her the latest Masterchef book, and she wanted to make Jimmy’s butter chicken. She went in with a list, found everything pretty quickly, and left without spending a hell of a lot of money, which was what I expected.
It was all a very happy ending, too. One of the best curries I’ve had recently, and it was cooked in my very own kitchen! I can’t say the same for my attempt at coconut rice though.
