Dined in on Monday night last week. The food was delicious probably 4 stars but to be honest the service probably only worth 2 stars which is a real shame as this really is normally a great restaurant and the food is superb… It just the services that lets it down. We rang to book a table on the way from the airport as we had just picked up some visitors from England and it was a beautiful evening so we wanted a table outside on the balcony. Once we got there there were only 3 – 4 other groups dining in the restuarant but we were told we had to sit inside as the boss had said no? However there were lots of vacant tables outside and people seated ordering — it would’ve been nice when I had rang if they had told me then they only had table inside so I didn’t then have to let down our guests. We had the specials board placed next to our table with no run down on what was on offer. It then took 15mins for our order to be taken — we ordered garlic bread for starters, pizza from the specials board and 2 sides. We are 4 people & when the garlic bread came out there was only 2 slices — we said to the waitress there are only two pieces and she said yes you only ordered one. Wouldn’t it be common sense that when taking our order the waitress would a serve has two pieces — would you like to order 2 serves. So we waited again. The specials veggie pizza was delicious and the sides were a great size. So although the large pizzas can be $$$ they are absolutely superb and well worth the money. There are so much potential for this place to be amazing all the time — unfortunately this night the service was not great & slow which really let it down. Other than that my favourite pizza place down the bay!

Amazing! We booked a table earlier this afternoon for 830, we arrived a little early and had to wait for our table but we were seated at the best table in the house. On the balcony right in the middle. Sunset was at 829 tonight. Perfect timing! I was pleased to see they have lake breeze moscato and ordered a glass. My partner ordered a beer. We were offered table water and given time to decide what to order. We ordered two small pizzas, one free range chicken the other Hahndorf spicy salami with bacon added(hold the olives) and garlic bread to start. It all tasted amazing. Best pizza I’ve ever tasted! Really great customer service.

Such amazing pizzas to choose from! Been here a number of times and always get the olive bread which is delicious also my favourite pizza is the butter chicken! Such a perfect combo, of pesto, sweet potato and the most flavoursome juicy chicken! They also give a huge amount of topping which is so a bonus compared to other pizza joints! The service is always great and it just has a great ambience about the place!

We had the seasonal market veg and the roast duck, take-away because they were not open for dining during the holiday season. Both pizzas were perfect — thin and crispy crusts, with generous toppings — be careful with the spring onion and ginger as it will stain your bathrobe :) Highly recommended for pizza in Glenelg!

Organic pizzas with free-range meats? Yes please! The pizzas are delicious. My favourite is the Margherita. The pizzas are pricey, but they’re worth it. Having said that; last week the pizzas weren’t as good, the base was soft and a tad chewy. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt though as we had taken them to a friends house for dinner and they were in the box for the 10 – 15 mins drive so they may have steamed themselves. Every other time I’ve had their pizza it has been amazing.

An oldy but a goody. If you like pizza then you can’t go wrong with goodlife’s organic pizza range. My favourite: Handorf salami.

Great pizza! Covered in roast vegetables on a real pizza base. They get what vegan means and looks a beautiful place to eat in. Nice staff too.

We went to good life for our first time last night after hearing mostly good reviews so it had a bit to live up to and got off to a great start with very friendly first impressions from their staff. The place was packed and buzzing with atmosphere with a cool Italian vibe set up around our table with wine bottles and things like that. The second of our waiters must of been new but very friendly however made two mistakes ok describing the starter of «dips» which were not dip like at all but more tasters with pita bread. The only other downfall from our experience was a rather long wait Inbetween them bringing the wine out they were however extremely spotlighted and seemed very sincere. The pizzas came out at a good time after the entrée/appetizers We’re finished and loved all of them. We had the duck pizza. The special which was a chicken and roasted sweet potato pizza and the monster prawn. My personal favourite was the duck. Will defiantly be back sometime soon.

The problem is that pizza is such a highly competitive market now and while theirs were good, they weren’t amazing. We shared the duck, Margherita, ham and pineapple, roast chicken and salami. The duck was the stand out, others seemed overly salty and the amount of topping a bit mean. Setting is nice and it’s quite cozy in winter.

After being amazed at the O’Connell Street GoodLife Pizza, we thought we’d try one closer to home. For a Tuesday night, this place was packed — so I’m very glad we booked! It took a little while for someone to take our order … but they were pretty busy. We shared the smoked salmon pizza(which wasn’t as topping-heavy as the one from the O’Connell Street GoodLife), as well as the special — a mashed sweet potato pizza with cheese and smoked almonds. Oh my, they were absolutely delicious! The garlic Turkish bread is divine, and is served with olive oil. I’ve gotta say I’m converted — this place is amazing, and although we’re not vegetarians, there are a lot of fantastic and creative vegetarian options(which is a nice change!).

Now pizza can get a little old and boring after a while. Don’t get me wrong, I love pizza, but it seems everywhere you go now serves pizza. Well Good Life pretty much only serve pizza, but it is new, fresh and incredibly tasty. This Glenelg one has a fantastic spot on Jetty Road, with a location upstairs and seats on the balcony overlooking the road. The place is comfortable and homey, but not like Nanna’s kitchen, it does have a modern feel too. The pizzas are organic and have basic toppings, but honestly less is more here, the flavours really stand out when there are less of them. Give it a try next time you are in Glenelg in Summer.

Good Life is by far one of my favourite pizza places. In addition to it being organic(yay!), each dish has full flavour, impeccable presentation and generous toppings. My favourite would have to be the salmon pizza. The caper mayonnaise is simply divine. Even while writing I’m trying to prevent electric shock from drooling on my Mac. In my head I am planning my next visit. Walking up the stairs, the furnishings are beyond cute and homey. The whole venue is cosy and well furnished. It has a down-to-earth vibe, which corresponds well to its organic principles.

The best thing about this pizza place is that it is organic pizza. And yes, you can actually taste the difference. Having visited this little gem a few times, I would definitely recommend trying to reserve a balcony table, especially in Summer. There is nothing better than eating fantastic gourmet pizzas whilst overlooking the square and beach beyond. The restaurant has a homely feel. Candles light the staircase as you venture up to the restaurant. The menu boards are on wood and staff wear cute brown aprons that give you some sort of reassurance as to the authenticiy of the place. As for the pizzas; my personal favourite is the mushroom pizza, complete with the most perfect mayonnaise topping — yum! This is a great place to drop by with a group of friends for a casual bite to eat.
