Hands down the best gelato I have had in Perth! We always have to have an ice cream stop here when we come to the marina. Their pistachio is amazing as is the ferrero rocher. Flavours are always changing so you never know what will be on offer. So many sorbet options too if you don’t want or can’t have dairy. Love this place!

I didn’t think anything could come close to Italian gelato… But I am so pleased to say that I have found gelato equally as good here at bellisimo! Many flavours to choose from made with REAL ingredients, it knocks all other Perth ice cream/gelato out the water! Would highly recommend the pistachio(true to Italian form), Turkish delight(with a strong rose flavour), honeycomb and rum n raisin. Not sure what to choose? Ask to taste as many as you want, the staff are friendly and happy to oblige! A must visit when in Hillary’s!

Calling all fellow sweet tooths, you need to go here! I would easily say Bellisimo Gelato is the best Ice Cream Spot in Perth, and I am a HUGE Ice Cream fan. Fellow Hillary’s Ice Cream competitor Cold Rock doesn’t even come close Bellisimo, unfortunately the quality of there Ice Cream just does not compare. The Flavours and toppings for Bellisimo are amazing, my favourite is Honeycomb, I try and get something different every time I go there, but always go back to Honeycomb. The prices are average, pretty much what you expect when you go to any Ice Cream place these days, no more than the likes of Wendy’s, Gelato or Cold Rock but WAY better. The only thing I would say if I was to say anything negative about Bellisimo Gelato was their staff are often very young and through tasters in your face constantly when you’re there(not always a negative).

This is indeed a highlight on the Sorrento Quay Boardwalk — quality Italian-style ice-creams and sorbets in a range of decadent flavours. Couldn’t go past the caramelised fig — soft and creamy with actual chunks of fruit throughout. Beautiful stuff.

Bellisimo Gelato is the best ice cream in Perth, hands down! The owner trained for years in Italy and follows the secret recipes that no other ice cream shop can match. The freshness and realness of the flavours make them absolutely delicious and really hit the spot on a hot summers day. Coconut would have to be my all time favourite followed by the chocolate combinations which are all as equally fantastic: honeycomb, tiramisu, whitechoc macadamia, cherry ripe, caramello and the list goes on. My only compliant about Bellisimo Gelato is that I find it very ridiculous to pay $ 6 for a scoop of ice cream when you could buy an entire tub at the supermarket for the same price. However, when you compare taste and price to the tub stuff there is no questions asked: Bellisimo Gelato always dominates; even Cold Rock has equivalent prices and doesn’t come close to the smoothness of Bellisimo Gelato.

I have always been an ice-cream fan and I am not sure when I first tried gelato but since then if ever I pass a gelato shop I have to get one! Now Bellisimo have done very well, I love there gelato and after being to Italy its hard trying to find something that comes close to the gelato I was lucky enough to experience there, and for me Bellisimo really is one of the closest I have had to a true Italian gelato. They also sell slushis! And I don’t just mean your bog standard three flavours. I mean they have different sections for different slushi flavours! I have never had so many choices! I always mix my flavours, and so this time was no different, only there are way too many flavours to mix! Guess that gives me an excuse to go back :)

I am somewhat of a gelatasseur. I have been to Italy many times and tried only the finest of ice-cream. I once paid $ 18 for an ice-cream, and I’d be willing to pay more. That is how qualified I am to judge ice-cream. And Bellisimo Gelato sits on the scale right below some fine Italian gelaterias but way about any of the other so-called«ice-cream» shops around Perth. I would much rather come here than the novelty ice-cream shop Cold Rock, or the overpriced Baskin-Robbins. I have tried a lot of different flavours but I love the rainbow flavour. It takes me back to my misguided youth. Also, the baci flavour will know your socks off. Also, pavlova! Oh, who am I kidding? They’re all good.

The Italians have bequeathed a lot to this world, food-wise, and gelato is right up there among its finest offerings. Bellisimo does a great job, making their fare, which also includes sorbet, onsite, fresh, every day. The flavours run the gamut, but my favourite would probably have to be pistachio. It’s one of the hardest flavours to get right and I personally feel that most places tend not to. But Bellisimo does, and it’s not the only one that it nails. It would perhaps be ill-advised, figure-wise, to make one’s way through the entire line-up in order to see what ones it nails more than others, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to try it.(Being able to afford to, on the other hand…) Bellisimo is a great place to grab some dessert and sit out on the boardwalk as people mill about after dinner. Right next door to Leisure Zone, it’s also the perfect place to get a sugar rush before you go play Time Crisiss or air hockey like a twelve year old.
