Wildchild stocks a wide range of cutting edge Australian and international designer labels. Next door is Night Child, which is devoted to formal and special occasion wear. Wild & Night child are my favourite clothing stores along KWR(a tie with Lorna Jane). If I am looking for a distinctive, stand out dress, top, shoes or outerwear, or maybe something glamourous and different for a black tie event, Wild/Night child is my first stop. Sure some stuff may be too«cutting edge» for many, but I never walk out without a purchase. It’s hard not to feel fabulous or get carried away when I try on the clothes. The sales assistants are able to help me style certain pieces or make suggestions of items from the store that I had not noticed. This is an indulgent retail therapy for me! It’s worth«liking» them on Facebook because you get photos of models(and sometimes customers or the staff) wearing new arrivals and get notified of their phenomenal sales(50−70% off!!!) which is such good value for designer wear(Sass & Bide anyone??!). Their website is worth a look. Or check out their Instigram feeds to see what is on-trend and get a similar, more purse-friendly outfit at Zara ;-)

Wild Child is one of my favourite clothing stores in Adelaide. They stock a wide range of clothing, shoes and accessories from major Australian labels, as well as clothing from less well known(yet fantastic) Australian and International designers. The clothing they stock is generally well designed and remains stylistically relevant for years. Their clothing is arranged by colour, which makes an aethetically pleasing way to browse and is useful when searching for a piece of a certain colour to go with exisiting outfits. Everything is also well laid out and easy to find. Most of their stock is fairly pricey, but there are also pieces which are moderate in price. Wild Child also has fantastic sales and this is often a great time to pick up something special. Night Child(located next door), is the eveningwear extention of Wild Child and is one of the best of its kind in Adelaide. It will always have something special for a formal, party or ball. Customer service is pretty decent here too!

Wild Child Stylelab is so gorgeous. There are some fantastic fashions available here, and if you had the cash to spend here you definitely would. There are fashions which would suit pretty well a lady of any age. There are a wide range of colours, styles, sizes, everything! It’s not a cheap store by far. Very far. But if you had a special occasion coming up where you wanted to look a bit different, and fabulous, then I would seriously recommend having a look through what they have in stock here because it’s absolutely beautiful.

Do you like young, funky, cutting edge fashion? If so you can’t go past Wild Child Stylelab on King William Road at Hyde Park. The store itself is possibly one of Hyde Park’s most significant style icons and has been in its famed corner position since 1991. Wild Child is full to brimming with the most up to date and latest fashion items. Brands you’ll find at there include Bettina Liano, Cooper St, Diesel, Anouk, Ladakh and Wheels and Dollbaby. While much of their range looks best on 16 year olds with zero percent body fat, many of their pieces can still look good on the rest of us mere mortals ie the older stylish woman. Just remember a mini skirt on a woman of a certain age can look downright tacky and there is such a thing as mutton dressed up as lamb. Does anyone remember the scene from Sex and the City II when Samantha turned up in the same dress as Miley Cyrus? The solution to this is to take advice from the stylists as Wild Child, they’re generally pretty honest about what suits and what doesn’t. Along with dresses, skirts, jeans, and tops you’ll find shoes and accessories at Wild Child as well. If you stop by for a browse or a shop, remember to take your credit card and when you’re done head for one of King William Road’s famous cafes or eateries.

This shop rocks in so many ways and I suspect many would shop here for their prom night, 21st birthday, cocktail parties and just flirty summer parties in the park. My first instinct was it catered for those in the ever so petite size but was happy to find some pieces ranging till size 14, which will appeal to everyone. The store had a 50%-70% sale during my visit, so I happily picked up a summer dress for a bargain. YAY for me! I spotted a tutu skirt(hello Lady Gaga!), funky t-shirts, silk blouses and gorgeous summer dresses to sample this summer. At the adjoining store lies Night Child, with racks of golden and silver embellished cocktail dresses and gowns, truly a girl’s oasis. It’s a perfect shop to make every girl look and feel beautiful!
