This Italian restaurant and café always appears busy at both the inside and sidewalk tables, however doesn’t have much of a reputation. The kitchen churns out Mediterranean fare with varying degree’s of success.
Service is inconsistent which is a problem, Sometimes it is friendly and sometimes rude depending on your server. Everything takes longer then it should. I have never had a bad experience at Zanetti’s but it’s the inconsistency of service that stops me returning again and again.
The Ivanhoe shopping precinct has so many amazing dining options that anything less then fantastic looks even worse in comparison to other establishments. Zanetti’s has the right ingredients, the menu is good and the food usually great. They just need an image and service overhaul.
