We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we visited for their Buffett breakfast. We ordered one full Buffett for 32 dollars, and an egg and bacon roll for around 15 dollars. The range was standard fair for a hotel breakfast. I enjoyed the apple juice and herbal tea. My friend had a breakfast tea, but you could have had an Nespresso coffee. I wanted to try the automatic pancake maker, but it looked rather like the automatic toaster(and alas I ordered off the menu). The facilities were clean, there was a television and two Apple computers. I enjoyed reading the latest Vogue and Women’s Health magazines and then the Sunday newspaper. The seats were super comfy so we could have stayed all morning. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

My stay at The Point was brief, only 9 hours; so perhaps I formed my opinion too quickly? The staff were exceedingly pleasant, I scored an upgraded room however the design was unusual with having to walk to the bathroom though the lounge(with the couch in the middle)… The staff were all very friendly, however the place suffered from an odd feeling — for example the buffet breakfast was strangely laid out down a pseudo corridor with the milk being around the corner for your cereal? And the coffee machine being hidden away!
