Hippo Creek Bar & Grill

I popped in to this particular Hippo Creek on a Tuesday night to attend the quiz night. I was surprised how much fun I had. I love quiz nights but sometimes a few fall flat — sport questions, geography questions — big segments of nope for me.
This quiz night though was interactive, funny and entertaining. Not too easy and not too hard either. The quiz master was easy going and entertaining without being annoying and there were prizes throughout the night. I also noticed Hippo Creek had a bar menu which was both varied and affordable. If you are looking to have an affordable and fun night out in Perth I recommend you check this out. First prize in the quiz night is a $ 50 bar card which you can’t shrug off.

I’ve been meaning to try out Hippo Creek for a while so we came here for lunch for my brothers birthday as he loves lots of meat! The restaurant is situated at Waterford Plaza on the outskirts of the shopping centre and is nice a spacious with a beer garden.
The menu is great with meat combos and lots of steak options, a little pricey but I think you get a good size serving. We all opted for the Angus burgers which were delicious, home made patties, cheese and bacon and a good serving of fries. We also had garlic bread to start which was full of flavour.
Great service and the food came out quick which is always a plus and it’s in the Entertainment Book so you get a good discount. I would definitely come back.
