The restaurant was empty, 4 girls behind the bar and not one greeted me.dissapointing.ordered take out. The menu is very large and takes a while to read. I stand at the counter and patiently wait for service while the girls chat casually. ½hr later i get my food. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to par. Even simple dishes were all wrong. Would not recommend. Travel elsewhere.

I can’t say I am a huge fan of China View Chinese Restaurant, but I wouldn’t say the food is inedible. This is just your average suburban tacky looking Chinese restaurant/​takeaway. I used to live just down the road so I have tried the food from here a couple of times (takeaway both times). Sadly, after a couple of visits, I can not say I ever feel like coming back here.
I can’t remember which particular dishes I have tried, but what I do remember is that they tasted very average and pretty oily. I love tacky Chinese food, but this is not the best. Having said that, it is the only Chinese restaurant that I know about in the area so if you want Chinese, I guess it will do the trick.
The menu features all your favourite Chinese dishes and there is a DIY stir fry option where you can pick your meat and sauce. The menu is pretty big so you should definitely find something that you like.
Even though I am not a huge fan of this restaurant, I would not talk someone out of it if they are looking for Chinese food in Kenmore.
