A popular café in a good spot, with friendly staff.
The Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly, but they were drowned in hollandaise sauce which effectively ruined the meal.
The omelet is large with fresh ingredients, but white bread is your only option for toast.
The coffee is excellent.

While back in Sydney to visit family, we decided to head down to Kiama for the day. Being a Friday, the café was fairly quiet which was nice. The girls at the counter provided great service + the coffee & eggs benedict were fantastic.
The Black Rock café is a top spot for breakfast or lunch & I will certainly be back the next time I return to Sydney for a visit.

Most popular place I have seen so far in Kiama for breakfast. Great coffee and great breakfast — they really slap on the hollandaise for the fans of the Benedict or Chris’s special. Eggs were poached perfectly and it serves the best coffee in Kiama.
