Three Words: Apple. Crumble. Martini. Do yourself a favour and go, this cocktail will change your life. Absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is great, friendly staff, great live music.

First time visit for a friends birthday on the weekend. $ 10 cocktails from 4−7pm and there is four to choose from! My favourite was the apple crumble and one similar to a lychee martini! A few food options are also half price during this happy hour period! We got to try the margarita and the double brie pizza! Both tasty with lots of toppings. Bar was busy when we first arrived but staff were churning out those cocktails like no tomorrow! Space is a bit small at the front which kinda added to the vibe. They had a guy on a guitar singing out tunes from 7pm. Overall, great first time visit!

Stopped in while waiting for my room to be ready for check in. Nice atmosphere. Sat on the back patio which is a little more relaxed than the indoors/front area. Part way through the meal, some live music started playing which was a nice touch. Had the big veggie breakfast and an espresso. The toast was great!

So not what any of what the reviews said. The service was poor, the menu was very plain and had to go to get service for a second drink.

I had a brunch there and I ordered the big veggie breakfast with scrambled eggs. The food was average and quite expensive. Great place to go on a public holiday as they have many tables. Loved the decoration.

First night I visited Manly after arriving in Australia we went to this place. The live music was great, the crowd was tops… but the cocktails were absolutely amazing. Haven’t found a place in the world that matches the apple crumble martini here. Every time I hosted a visitor and took them to Insitu, they were equally impressed. Now that I no longer live in Manly, I miss having this place in my backyard and cannot wait to go back next time I visit.

You had me at $ 10 cocktails! If you get the chance to drop in here, you have to try some of their signature cocktails, especially the apple crumble as it actually tastes like apple crumble! I haven’t eaten here, unless you consider sugar and creamy goodness from espresso martinis to be food. There was live music on a Saturday afternoon and they created quite the atmosphere.

Quite narrow, quite hectic on a Saturday morning, average breakfast. Staff was harried but professional.

Have been at InSitu for lunch and would definitely recommend it. Located close to the famous Manly Corso, you should stop by and get something to drink/eat.

After reading an article referencing InSitu as one of the nicer places to get coffee in Manly, we decided to have our brunch here. Though the restaurant looks a little small from the outside, it actually is pretty big and accomodates a large crowd. They have indoor, outdoor seating and a bigger backyard with awnings and umbrellas. I really like the rustic and classy décor. After perusing the breakfast menu, my husband and I decided to split a Big Veggie Breakfast, and got a cappuccino and cold coffee. The breakfast comes with a couple bread slices, butter, sauteed mushrooms and spinach, brown beans and two eggs. Just so delicious. Love the brown beans especially, they were a tad sweet and real good. Just a healthy meal! My husband loved his cappuccino and I liked my cold coffee. While leaving the restaurant, I noticed that they have a ½ off pizzas and tapas later in the day. So, we came back to this restaurant again later in the day to get a Cajun chicken pizza. So damn good, especially with the half off price. I asked the waiter to recommend a good cocktail(more of a dessert cocktail) and he highly endorsed the Apple Crumble Martini. I don’t like apples or apple flavor, nevertheless ordered it. And ended up LOVING it. I very highly recommend trying this restaurant when you visit Manly.

First meal my hubby and I had in Australia was here with our friend who lives a mile away. All three of us ordered some breakfast. I had the Big Veggie Breakfast and the other two had the eggs Benedict. All dishes were very good. I especially loved the spinach and mushroom sauté my meal came with. So light yet filling. Good vibes all around going on here!

Come to insitu for dinner and cocktails. Bring a date, or a friend or two. You won’t be disappointed. Great live local musicians, great vibe, chilled but super fun all at the same time! In my humble opinion insitu is the best nightspot in manly by far!

A small café with a lot of character and a great patio in the back. The staff is very friendly and experienced — no notepads for orders. I had brunch here with friends, and we had the buttermilk pancakes with banana, corn fritters, and eggs benedict. The portions are small, but the food was tasty. Good for brunch, lunch and late night.

A quaint, lil’ side café away from the hubbub of Manly. It had started to rain so folks sought shelter inside. Finally, a café with a lovely outdoor spot had plenty of elbow room… that is until the clouds parted. While we only stopped for french fries, they were fresh and hot. Luckily, InSitu provided a vat of ketchup for the Americans to douse our fries in! Service was super-duper friendly! As a heads-up, InSitu is caddywonk from a hostel. While I saw no riffraff in midday, I question the nighttime when the young-bucks head out to frolic and prey!
