WE don’t often go back to takeaway pizza restaurants a second time but been back to Pedros 5 or 6 times now. It’s by no means the closest to home either so for us that says a lot. Good pizza with a bonus of having a good price as well

For what this place is, they’re pretty good. In fact, they’re probably one of the best budget pizza options in Adelaide at the moment. My pick is the margherita — it’s basically what I order just about every time I have pizza. Mine was pretty okay. The crust was alright, the toppings were good enough, and it was quick. And most importantly, it was cheap. So yes, I vote for Pedro.

In terms of independent pizza bars, Pedros is right up there with some of the best. Their prices are really reasonable and get me in every time when looking for a pizza option with a group of friends. Compared to the bigger and more expensive chains where you can pay a lot for not much, their prices are good value. There is the regular range of $ 8.95 pizzas, with a pretty good selection to choose from depending on what you are into, be it meat lovers or vegetarian. My pick is the Pedro special which is double tomato sauce, pineapple, ham, mushrooms, pepperoni and capsicum on a pan base which is so soft and gooey. The garlic is also good and a bargain at $ 2.50. Whenever I ring the staff are friendly and the pizza is always cooked quickly. They also offer a range of alternatives to pizza including some seafood options like oysters and prawn cocktails. There is also certain days of the week where you can get specials like lunch time Tuesdays where all regular pizzas are $ 4.95…Bargain!!!
