If you are flying business class or first class Quantas, this is the place to be. The hub of Quantas! The place is huge and you can pick and choose where to sit. They keep the place clean and there is a variety of refreshments, snacks and entertainment to keep you occupied while you wait for your flight. I’ve never been in an airport lounge so I was pretty excited that I got to eat some snacks and read up on the latest magazines. Place comes with free wifi and computer stations to print out documents, etc. Plus they have a shower in case you need to get a quick scrub before flying. Too bad I missed the breakfast food, they ended up setting up a brunch spread but it was not as good.

The Qantas Club is a must visit for a quick snack prior to flying. If you do not have check in luggage, go straight there to and check in at the front desk. The food is simple but sufficient to fill the belly. Grab some reading for the flight too. Worth a visit prior to all flights, assuming that you are flying on a QF flight.

What is not to love about complimentary food and drinks while you are waiting for your flight? This lounge is huge with so many different areas to sit. There was a good selection of snacks on offer and the service at the bar was great.

I’m always paranoid about missing flights so I tend to check in early, even if it’s a domestic flight. It’s always good to relax here, though. I always grab a bowl of soup and make myself a cheese toastie. It’s relatively busy, but during the times I’ve gone I’ve always been able to get a seat. Nice clean bathrooms and free WiFi, yay.

Hey Qantas, 1955 called and it wants its dress code back. I walked into the Business class lounge as an international traveler in First Class coming from the States and after making me check my carry-on luggage at the domestic transfer counter, because Qantas only allows 7kg!(the lowest I’ve ever seen) I’m given a hard time when entering the Business Lounge because of my thong sandals.(Thongs on the toes apparently being more trashy than on your ass). Naturally my hand carry, now checked, baggage had an extra pair of shoes which I would have removed or changed into if the ticket agent who advised me to go to the business lounge had bothered to tell me that Qantas is run by a bunch of daft prigs living on Mars. Seriously it’s 9pm, there are 3 people here and you’re going to grouse over shoes to a passenger on a FC international ticket?!! Where are your priorities? Oh and the lounge sucks. I’ve seen more drink selections in a lounge in Utah.

The lounge is spacious with plenty of seats that have outlets to charge your devices. The breakfast spread is quite nice with hard boiled eggs, toast, cereals, and lots of fresh fruit. Connecting to the wifi does not require a password but instead the system asked what flight you are on to connect. The screen then pops up with your flight information.

Finally had a chance to use the lounge, work had booked me a later flight after some training and I agree with many of the other reviews. The lounge is a great place to pass that extra hour or so before your flight. There is a food bar available and there is tea, coffee, juice and of course a free full bar Free wifi and work stations around for those wanting to get that last work email off before flight. Plenty of comfy lounges to relax in does help pass the time.

Good place to chill before a domestic hop. It’s a spacious lounge and has a good vibe to it with quiet area to relax and unwind, a small shop to get anything you might have missed and a decent spread of food. Importantly the bar staff don’t give you any really-sir-you-want-another-drink-already attitude, which goes a long way I find!

Visiting the QF Club at least once a week, I can say I am probably well versed in all aspects of the lounge… or the bar area at least. Whether its breakfast with push button pancakes, lunch with a cold beer or just an evening soup and bread before a flight, their is always at least something to do, and in quiet, climate controlled areas. The toasted sandwich maker is, eerm, maybe not the classiest of ways to enjoy a meal, and I miss the days when cheese & meats were constant throughout the day, as budget restraints make the experience more Jetstarish than Qantastic, but hey, the quality of wine and beer hasn’t changed, and that is the deal breaker in my books!

This was a pretty nice lounge. They had a wide variety of free food and wine so I’m not complaining! Did I mention the wine is in an open bar and you can keep pouring as many glasses you desire? Umm extra star for that. I’m reserving the 5th star from a lounge that has free steak and lobster. LOL

I don’t fit in to the«lounge» scene. Normally if I’m travelling I look like I have just woken up, oily bed hair, smelling like I have just done a workout on the plane. I’m always in flats and priorities comfort over couture. But once you get over the looks and extra attention given to your free Qantas Club pass you’ve scored then you feel like royalty. An open bar and serve your own wine counter, readily changed breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner buffets and a general aura of calm makes you want to fly more. Qantas Club knows how to turn it on for guests with free wi-fi, free food, free magazines from around the world and(thank the lord) showers and bathrooms after those overseas flights. My only qualm(being a lady who loves a good buffet) is the breakfast, lunch and dinner plates are too god damn small. I know they are trying to restrict people going gangbusters on the buffet, but all it means is I have to go up 5 times to get through everything! Secret squirrels? I once actually cried because a technicality meant I couldn’t get into the Qantas Club to have a shower after an 18 hour flight back from the US. I had been waiting the entire plane ride for a Qantas Club shower and was crushed when I couldn’t use my one free pass into the lounge while waiting to return to Adelaide. My fault not theirs, but as you can see I really do dream about this haven.

If you’re reading reviews for the Qantas Club, I guess you’re either: a) researching whether you should buy a membership, b) you already have a membership and want to know what the Sydney Airport lounge is like or c) you’re just moseying through reviews and came across this one. a) If you’re not a Qantas FF member and you travel every week so with Qantas, buy a membership. If you’re a FF member and travel frequently enough, wait until your status credits give you gold membership and score a free membership. b) It’s one of the bigger, busier lunges. Before I go any further, I should let you know I’m vegan and I don’t drink so I’ll focus on the lounge and not the free food and booze(as much). The vegan offering is normally limited to crackers and antipasto with the occasional soup. If I had to pick one thing to add to the lounge, it’d a be juicer and fresh veggies to juice. The Wifi is free and fast, there’s stacks of power points at longe benches and private desks if you need to work. I like the lack of power points in the loungey sections, it means I don’t have to deal with loud typers while I sip my chamomile tea and read the paper on my iPad. c) I hope this kept you entertained for a few moments. Now off you go to the next review.

The Qantas Club makes travelling fun, especially when the bar is open from lunchtime. With free flowing quality Australian wines and top shelf spirits, a delayed flight isn’t be such a bad thing after all. The food buffet is well stocked with a selection of meats, cheese, salads, soups and a dish dejour. Help your self to a plate or three and then help yourself to some more quality Australian wines. The staff(especially the cleaners) are exceptionally polite. Did I mention the quality Australian wines?

Come on Qantas! I’m here regularly and I’m getting pretty bored of the hot food choices. I mean it’s the same every time I’m here… Every Sunday and Friday nights!

The Qantas lounges are a place of refuge for me on many a long business trip. Often a comfy place to rest weary bones, a convenient outlet to recharge the iPad, or a nook to sit with friends over a wine or two and solve the problems of the world before catching the next flight. Recently Qantas has put more effort into getting the service aspect right, and have also improved the quality of the food on offer. It certainly makes a small difference to the quality of life of those who must travel regularly for business and be away from home.

I HATE early morning flights with a passion. Having to get up before the sun is a crime. What makes me even grumpier is being in such a rush that my body is not fed. Thank goodness for the Qantas Lounge and the breads, yogurt, museli, cereal, juices, teas, coffees and the darn pancake machine where you press the button and out comes these babies Hot Fresh Pancake goodness in a minute. Genius! I clearly over ate at the lounge that I failed to eat the plane food.
