Stopped for coffee and snacks but were treated like we were unwelcome as they were really busy.

Great lunch option! My girlfriends and I enjoyed a Sunday lunch in this Casual setting. With seating in the warmth it is a great winter option. You can BYO your recent purchases with a corkage fee of $ 12 or there is a good wine list. We shared the gnocchi green veggies olives and pumpkin bread and were delighted with every dish.

This little gem is situated right in the middle of mcLaren Vale wine country. Red poles is an art gallery, restaurant and B&B. I have made the trek down to Mclaren Vale on several occassions to attend the openings of art exhibitions in Red Pole’s medium size art space. Don’t forget to look upstairs too, as they have an uncanny knack for fitting more artwork than you would think possible into the space. They can cater quite well for wall work, sculpture and jewellery. The Red Poles café which is only open for lunch is pretty fancy pants as far as cafes go… there is a small selection of mouth watering dishes available with mains ranging between $ 28 and $ 35. Sunday afternoons on the lawn are super popular, so you may want to book your place! Last time I had coffee here it was really good. A great place to relax in the sun and soak in the good vibes, they often have live music of some sort or another, so you may want to check the website for the program.
