Airport coffee is one of those funny things… You will always remember the bad airport coffee but you never remember any really good ones. You are always on your way to somewhere or just waiting around… more of the waiting around than anything else. So? is it a good coffee? *meh* It it ok. It is exactly like every airport coffee I think that I have ever had. It did exactly what I needed it to do, it killed some time. Yes it was ok. It wasn’t extravagant, it wasn’t repugnant. Above everything, the tables are clean and the chairs are comefortable, there are power points to recharge all the things.

Coffee was very hot but did lack the taste of good coffee

Hudsons at the Melbourne Airport. Well, the main attraction is that it is open early. Hudsons serves a very generic type of coffee and the airport location is probably on the low end of the spectrum. Still, it’s better than nothing. And yes, by that I mean Starbucks ;)

I’m not a massive fan of Hudsons but then again I prefer them to Starbucks. The place naturally is pretty quiet at 5 in the morning — you get the occasional airport staff or flight attendant passing by or passenger like myself waiting for their flight or who are after a cuppa after a long flight. I’m having tea — English breakfast(god I’m starting to sound like an old woman, it’s probably the tea!) and well, it’s just a cup of tea so not much to add there. I’ve given it 3 stars for the simple fact that they are just about the only place open at the moment.
