I can’t go past a pet shop without going in, so it’s no surprise I went in here.
What drew me in first was the cute little bunnies playing in the window. I was happy to see they didn’t sell cats and dogs, as I refuse to shop at a pet shop that does. I brought my pup a toy rope, though I felt most of the things in the store were overpriced.
The pet food in particular I know from experience I can get much cheaper at one of the big pet warehouses. Having said that, it’s good to know this place is there in case I need something I can’t get elsewhere, or can’t get elsewhere to get.

Since they opened in 2008, Brandon Park Pets has been a very handy place indeed. Especially when it’s Sunday morning and you’ve just realised that you’re out of cat food (and you have a cat that refuses to eat the trash that gets put on supermarket shelves claiming to be a tasty treat for your feline friends). I’ve bought bag after bag of Science Diet cat food from this place over the years, and the prices are surprisingly low for a small shop.
The service is pretty good, and the staff are always willing to offer advice based on their experiences with products from the shop.
