Lindt chocolate has some bomb chocolate. Melting it and using it in hot chocolate is even better. Creamy milky flavour that just warms your belly during winter. Best hot chocolate i’ve ever had and i always go back for more

Sweet. Swiss. Decadent. Great for lady dates and coffee prepared meticulously, but go there for the chocolatey goodness!

I love chocolate so much that if I had to pick my last meal before I died, all sorts of dark chocolate desserts would be involved in the spread. I wanted this place to be my chocolate heaven, but for the price that everything was, I was a bit disappointed. I got the hot chocolate, which was a cup of melted chocolate and warm milk — it was a delicious, rich hot chocolate, but to be honest, for $ 6, I could probably make two or three of these at home — it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to melt chocolate and warm up milk. The profiteroles were also delicious, but at $ 12 for 4 of them, the size of a golf ball, it was a bit on the expensive side. I do have to say that the vanilla bean cream /custard inside of them and the drizzled chocolate was perfect though. If you have time(and money), and like chocolate, you may like this place. The ambiance isn’t super conducive to hanging out — there are tables and chairs overlooking a hallway in the shopping center, and tables outside. I was also disappointed that for a café, there was no WiFi. If you’re looking to spend your calories in an effective manner, I’d suggest going to Gelato Messina instead for some delicious ice cream(you can get your chocolate fix there too)

Now I shop for the small chocolates in the front of the store —- not! I have had the cake, ice cream, and great tasting bars of all flavors — today, I am having the milk chocolate caramel bar. Decadent, yummy, and at around 5 bucks, not bad for a snack or two or three days!

The chocolate is good(we know it is) but what else does Lindt Café offer? Ambience is slightly reminiscent of a low budget cafeteria or the equivalent of sitting inside a giant marketing promo. Service brisk and lacking in warmth, macarons a teeny bit stale. Ok, but not worth trekking for.

Chocolate, a lonely girls best friend. Socially acceptable and easier to take home and impress the family. Lindt Chocolate does not disappoint. The service however does. As regular customer since the Collins St store opened I was rather sad to see that the friendly, helpful and reassuring staff seem to have moved on. Perhaps to the Southbank store? After a decadent morning roving Melbourne town a final treat at Lindt café was sorely needed and offered a landmark space to meet the girls. After waiting five minutes and being ignored by 4 staff members including the barista, I walked away. Previous trips have seen me seated next to a variety of interesting people all enjoying life over a decadent hot chocolate. Who ever though taking your daughter and explaining the facts of life over luxurious hot chocolate is a GENIUS. The general vibe has been pleasant and relaxing. A great place to order cakes for special work functions. Certainly impresses the boss and fellow workers.

Went to Lindt café for lunch and was served a ham & cheese croissant that was rubbery & chewy &(dark, as in almost burnt) — it had obviously been reheated in a microwave; very disappointing. The milk hot chocolate was nice but sweet.

Well Lindt Chocolate is up there with the best of them. I won’t go on about their menu but yes drop in even just to have a look or have something as the other reviews have covered it pretty much. What I can say is that it’s located inside a rather nice building but boy could the café be refurbished. Lighting is HORRIBLE flat white fluorescent which is a NONO for date night when you’re trying to look your smouldering best. Isn’t Chocolate meant to be an indulgent romance? The café is surprisingly noisy too, sound just bounces off everything and you find yourself speaking really loudly across the table which is I feel unbecoming for a premium chocolatier. Also, the displays do nothing to enhance the shopping experience or reflect the premium nature of the brand or items. Whilst we were there it was cold outside but the sliding doors were perpetually open most of the time and thus very draughty. It also let the cigi smoke from outside in. Major YUCK. Like I said, food wise it is really good but all that ambience is so severely lacking for such a premium brand and the price you are paying to enjoy it. This city café needs a revamp fast of its going to survive. Nitpicky I know. Can’t fault the chocolate no way. However I was very impressed with the service, very attentive and the staff friendly and polite. Very.

I saw an email from Unilocal today on where to get the best Hot Chocolate in Melbourne and had to write a review for Lindt because it did not appear on the list! But Lindt’s hot chocolate is something else. It’s pure Lindt chocolate(dark or milk, your choice). It comes in a small jug, a jug full of liquid chocolate. Then you add it to the hot, steamed and frothy milk in your mug and stir vigourously to create the worlds warmest hug. From jug, to mug to hug. There is nothing quite like it, because let’s face it, Lindt is the best chocolate on earth.

I Love Lindt chocolate! Had the lava cake with extra hazelnut ice cream on the side! The ice cream was really yummy! The lava cake was good as well but this place is really overpriced!

Given I don’t drink coffee, I’m essentially a hot chocolate connoisseur given I live in Melbourne. As far as hot chocolates go, the Lindt café certainly isn’t the best I’ve ever had, and certainly at not that price tag. And I can’t exactly say I’m a fan of a café dedicated to the one product, a little bit of overkill when it’s just chocolate. Eh.

With one at every street corner, down every cobbled laneway, on every office building lobby floor, Melbourne CBD is not wanting for cafes. It has been wanting though, for cafes that offer interesting takes on the routine breakfast/brunch/lunch options, and/or a different café experience. Constructed as irresistible chocolate wonderlands, most specialty chocolate boutiques offer a selection of chocolate cakes, mini chocolates, and chocolate-based drinks. Some also offer chocolate fondue sets and chocolate waffles. However, in MoMo & Coco’s experience, no chai latte is more genuinely flavoursome nor waffle more aesthetically beautiful and simply perfect for that sweet breakfast, than that available at the Lindt Chocolate Café.

I’m not going to tell you to come here and get chocolate. That’s sort of obvious. I’m not even going to try and describe the exquisite loveliness that is the desserts or the hot chocolate. You can read the other reviews for that. What I AM going to tell you is that if you’re not of the chocolate persuasion, that’s okay… because Lindt serve unbelievable soy chais. *drool*

I always knew that Lindt existed but it was only until recently that I was introduced to their passion fruit & slated caramel macaroons. Until this day I had not previously tasted or even sampled a macaroon and I can honestly say it was love at first bite. The salted caramel is like nothing I’ve ever tasted with the perfect combination of salty and sweet and the passion fruit is an amazing burst of flavor that pops in your mouth. The macaroon shell that encases the filling is neither too dry nor too soggy, it is literally made to perfection.

I remember a simpler time when I didn’t even know what Lindt was. The moment I tried some of their chocolate I thought that life could not get any better than that. How wrong was I? I started to working on Collins St and what should open up on the lower floor of the building? That’s right, the Lindt Chocolate Café! I think I have tried every one of the Lindt blocks and balls that they sell here and have to say that if you don’t walk out of here satisfied then you should have brought more chocolate! My number 1 thing to by here is actually a list of things: Block of milk chocolate with mousse(you won’t find these in the supermarkets), any Lindt ball they are all good, ice cream(once again they are all good and a little on the pricey side), surprisingly the croissant is the best that I have ever had!

This is Melbourne’s flagship Lindt Chocolate store. It gets extremely busy, especially on a Sunday. Grab a friend of yours and head out here for lunch to share with a hot chocolate each; or grab one of their lunch deals; and if your going for the latter: then why not go for their iced chocolate drinks. Love it how there are chocolate sprinkles immersed on top with beautiful, elegant music in the background. Go as far forward into the store as you can, it is better there. Can get very noisy which drowns out the music; however it is all good. The service isn’t too bad, and mothers day in Melbourne at this establishment brings a special touch to the service; to any woman(and yes you don’t even need to be a mum to benefit) you receive a little box of chocolates complimentary wishing you a happy mothers day. The decorations outside are extremely beautiful; especially the different flavoured macaroons and the Lindt logo. They have recently opened a store in South Yarra which is giving this location a run for its money. The full table service is great. I have not been tempted to buy any chocolates on the way in. Nor a cake for that matter.

99% chocolate blocks! Haven’t seen these anywhere else and they are as good as you’d expect(if you’re like me and love some very dark and slightly bitter chocolate). Lindt’s flagship store also has every Lindt product you’ve come across and then some, as well as a café down the back serving good coffee and better hot chocolate. There’s outside seating but sitting on Collins St isn’t the nicest, and inside you get to perve on all that chocolate!
