Yeah not bad… I had meat, chips and salad for $ 16.50, a bit expensive for a cheap lunch in my opinion, but was very tasty.

I had the Vegetarian Platter and my husband got the chicken schwarma here. 5 stars for the BEST pita bread that I had ever had in my life!!! Hot, soft, and possibly flavored lightly with garlic butter. I could not stop myself from stuffing the pita bread in my mouth. I have never had Taramosalata(fish mousse) before, so I can’t really compare. But for a first-time taste, Medallion Greek Café’s Taramosalata with their awesome pita bread was divine!!! Hummus and the Tzatzicki sauce were pretty good too. The chicken schwerma and the stuffed grape leaves was average. Pricing of meal was average for downtown Melbourne area. Mmmm…dreaming of Medallion’s Taramosalata and their pita bread in Los Angeles, CA

Medallion was disappointing to say the least. My friend dragged me up Lonsdale St because he was desperate for a slice of cheesecake to celebrate new beginnings and um… Well, the need for a slice of cheesecake. We went into what can best be described as a diner(don’t let the«restaurant, café, bar» description fool you), with its plastic chairs and mirrored walls and he ordered his massive slice of berry cheesecake. We sat down, and waited. And waited, and waited. We waited a really long time which was frustrating given that we were the only customers there. Eventually the slice arrived, drizzled as artfully as the waiter could with raspberry sauce(with the panache of a clumsy two year old). The cake was good, friend told me, but nothing spectacular.
