This little café on the laneway at QV with some beautiful shops around it. There are some tables outside to enjoy the sun, inside is quite small. I only came here for coffee and haven’t had anything to eat as yet. The coffee is fine. Nothing spectacular, altho its a nice place to sit and have a chat if the day is nice.

I do like a surprise, and I was quite surprised by Squisito. Popped in to grab a coffee in between house viewings and decided to stay for lunch. Although the coffee wasn’t amazing I’m going to forgive them as it seemed that the barista was being trained — and it certainly wasn’t the worst cup of coffee I’ve ever had so perhaps he’s a champion in the making… What impressed me was the food. First, the price. It seems like a long time since i have gone into a café and the price of salads and wraps didn’t make me wince a little. Here, you can pick up a chicken salad for about $ 13 and panini about $ 8.50 each. Given the prices I thought the serves would be small. They weren’t(or at least the panini wasn’t) — and they tasted good. Next itime I’m in the area and fancy a salad I’m going ot come here — the variety sounded nice and with a price tag less than $ 20(including chicken!) it’s got to be one of the better value for money places.

Lured back to this place for the first time in ages due to the QV Christmas promotion of a 20% discount, I was sorely disappointed by what has become of this place. My memories of beautiful crisp pastries and croissants were dashed when I saw the cabinet full of pre-stuffed«tigella» or what is apparently a Northern Italian flat bread. Well, of all of the great cuisine that has come to us from Italy, these flattened English muffins just weren’t up to it, and there was precious little else to choose from. I won’t be going back any time soon. And they didn’t honour the discount either.

Great for a quick and delicious lunch. I’m no expert on «authentic Italian» cuisine, but I must say that this place has wonderful pasta and equally delicious pasta dishes. I had pumpkin agnolotti.(think ravioli in a different shape) I would definitely order again. The other people in my party had panini and they were quite pleased. Don’t half step. Come here for a great quality meal and taste their delicious spicy chili oil.

This place is always bustling around early morning breakfast time. It houses a few regulars mon-fri and attracts blow in’s on the weekends due to its easily accessible and central location. For around $ 10 you can buy yourself a hearty Italian omellette with a coffee and the quality is second to none. This place is also available for functions. Looks can be deceiving from its lane way hideaway, this restaurants seats 50 + people accompanied by the outdoor seating area that runs through Artemis laneway.
