I’m not huge on chain stores. Witchery does not sell anything I would consider buying, and I’ve been in there a dozen times or so just to see if the style ever changes, which it doesn’t. The staff are really nice though! The clothes are simply not worth the price they go for. A lot of the clothes are too big too. I’m sure it appeals to some people, I’m just not one of them.

Witchery to me was always a women’s clothing brand, however i was surprised to find this little slice of garment heaven in my local shopping mall. Witchery man is your sleek, stylish menswear maker marketed more toward your fashion forward business man. I’ve purchased a-many business shirts from WM, all of very good calibre quality and design. There’s a pleasantly chipper red haired woman who is usually behind the counter and is grateful when i come in(the store is quiet for the most part), and she’s happy to help out with any fashion dilemma you may have. I do love this witchery store in particular because it always seems to have heaps of SALE stock(Takes up almost a quarter of the store). I’ve found shirts for $ 10 — $ 15, Business attire starting at $ 40, and Jeans ranging from $ 50 — $ 90.

Witchery Man??? Nope, me neither. I had absolute no idea that Witchery made men’s clothing until I happened upon their small but perfectly formed menswear outpost in Melbourne Central station. And now, well, for a girl, I’m a pretty big fan. The true male corollary of the women’s Witchery line, Witchery Man does a fine line in beautifully knitted jumpers, slouchily soft t-shirts and some jolly nice blazers. Everything is well made out of some pretty premium fabrics meaning prices can be steep but this particular shop — despite its diminutive size — has a really wide range of sale items on offer and its staff are more than happy for you to rifle to your heart’s content. There’s also a sweet range of kid’s clothes on offer — some of which are so sophisticated they wouldn’t look out of place on a grown woman on the pull — and again, a good kids’ sale section. As classic and beautifully realised as Witchery(Woman); for blokes this place is a real find.
