Back at Main Street with friends is like a comfy armchair. Great atmosphere, friendly and excellent staff and of course the wonderful Two Brothers boutique beers. The menu is always fresh and seasonal. I can recommend the DIY sliders for a tasty beer snack. Slow cooked Cajon spiced checked on brioche, quacamole, salsa, Chipotle aioli yum. You will really enjoy The place and be sure to ask for Katie as your server.

Ordered a salmon roll but the salmon was off. When I complained they took it back to the kitchen and tried to argue with me as the chef didn’t want to accept that it was off. They did eventually take it back but they acted as if I was contemptible for daring to send back dodgy food. It definitely smelt bad!!! Maybe it was just old and not totally off, but either way, I was very shocked by their reaction. Not going there again.

Came here for a birthday celebration with a group of four of us on a Saturday night. The service was not the best throughout the night. Meals came out scattered — my dessert was served, then everyone else on the table got theirs 10 minutes after I had finished. Drinks being forgotten about(especially mine). The food itself was pretty good. We all had the garlic bread to start off with. It just melted in your mouth. I had the main salad with calamari which was nice & fresh. Everyone else on the table had the lamb shank which came with mashed potato & a few carrots looked very boring & glad I didn’t order that. For dessert I had the New York Cheesecake– I just wish that every restaurant would only called it a NY cheesecake if it is actually one, and not brand a plain cheesecake a New York version. The rest of the desserts on the menu were over priced and not very flavourful.

With such great reviews, we decided to give this place a go but were disappointed. Very busy and noisy café. It’s kid-friendly, so parents will be happy to find it welcoming, but we were sitting next to screaming children so it wasn’t the lazy, relaxing brunch I expected. The coffee was good. However, the food was very average. I ordered a vegetarian turkish bread. It was absolutely tasteless and had no seasoning whatsoever. I only ate a quarter of it and had to leave the rest. The plate sat in front of me for ages and none of the waiters bothered to ask whether the food was wrong. I’m local, so will be back to try another dish, but not rushing back…

Very busy café which is usually a good sign. Stopped in for a quick breakfast and coffee. Coffee was good and the breakfast was good. Nothing was great in my opinion but have only been the once. I would try again.

Driven past here at least 100 times and found it always to be busy. Decided to try it out for brekky one Monday as I was meeting my friend from work who had just finished night shift. Was really impressed with the friendly staff and great menu. The café soon became very busy and you could tell its a place for all the locals. I loved my eggs and my friends meal looked amazing too. Coffee was great. Overall really pleased. Will def be back here or at one of the sister café’s

These guys really know how to poach an egg. They have a good variety on the menu, they make good coffee, but the poached egg really sold it for me. I’ve never had a better poached egg. Nor has my wife. And that glorious morning we had, between us, the four most perfectly poached eggs of our lives. The whites were cooked all the way through, with golden gooey centres. The outer surface clean and round, with just enough imperfections to show it wasn’t cooked in a «poach pod». I can only hope, for future visitors, that it wasn’t just an uncharacteristically good day for the chef, and that they keep the egg-poacher on staff.

This place is glorious. Stationed(Get it?! ‘Cause it’s right next to the train station!?) in Moordialloc shops, vthis is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a drink whenever. They have quite a decent sized space, with tables out the front as well as around the side. Please enjoy sitting outside as there’s heaters to keep you warm. The menu has a little bit of everything, but the toasted Turkish bread rolls are where the fun’s at. Try the T1 if you’ve had a bit of an ‘indulgent’ night the night before. It’s 2 fried eggs, bacon, cheese and tomato relish in a Turkish roll. OH. MY. FOODBAG. It’s yum. Treat yourself with a beer with breakfast. Best way to avoid a hangover is to keep drinking. The staff here are incredible also. They look like they enjoy being at work, a all incredibly attractive which doesn’t hurt, and very friendly. Go there. You’ll love it.
