Mosmans

Such a beautiful place with a nice view — went here for a work function with around 30 fellow co-​workers so we had a set menu for the evening.
With the big group of us I think they did pretty well to serve us such delicious food and even cook the main course perfectly that night.
With entreé I had the pork belly which was nice but was just the tiniest bit dry in the middle — I had a bigger piece of pork than some others so a few eyes were on mine and a few mumbles of why mine was bigger than theirs =p
For mains I chose the beef sirloin which was cooked perfectly pink in the middle so I was very happy with that.
And for dessert I had the sticky date pudding which could of been warmer — but still the flavours were amazing.
Such a great menu they have and I want to go back and try it. They are also in the entertainment book too :)

We visited mosmans for a birthday dinner and it’s a lovely location, right on the water.
The service was really good and the food was tasty.
I enjoyed the pork belly starter but wasn’t a huge fan of the fennel salad it came with.
For mains the fish and chips and the risotto were both tasty.
Dessert was my favourite — White chocolate crème brûlée ! Delicious
It would be great if they had a wider range of cider.
All the dishes were good, but I thought it was a bit overpriced.

Extremely underwhelmed!
I have been to this restaurant many times before and it was incredible but I believe the chef has recently changed and this change is obvious and not in a good way.
Started with oysters. Both Kilpatrick and natural
Kilpatrick were delicious but natural were nowhere near cold enough. Warm oysters are never a good thing.
For main course I had the baramundi and my partner the salmon. The baramundi was very ordinary and anyone could easily cook better in their own kitchen. It was simply pan fried in butter with 0 flavor. Served on lentils and a beetroot purée. Thank god for the salad we ordered on the side. The salmon was much the same. Very plain with no wow factor. Served with a supposed potato rosti that tasted like cardboard.
The desserts we had were crème brule which was very nice and then the peach and mango meringue pie which was simply ok.
Wait staff were very nice.
Restaurant was almost empty which says a lot for a place that used to be bustling.
Very disappointed!

Simply gorgeous!
I won a voucher through Mosmans facebook page and a friend and I thought we’d treat ourselves to a lovely lunch.
We were greeted warmly when arriving and were shown to our table straight away. Seated right next to the open windows with views of the water, rather large boats and swans swimming by. We were given time to look over the drinks menu and glasses of wine were bought out promptly. The wine and food was delicious and very filling. The dessert sounded fantastic but we couldn’t fit another thing in! There’s our excuse to go back now and try dessert :)
Fittingly they won Restaurant of the Year in 2013 and have many awards adorning the passage walls to the bathroom. Not only were we impressed with the service, food, wine and breathtaking views but the toilets were pretty flash too. It was so nice to have cloth towels instead of those horrid paper towels and jet blowers!
Looking forward to going back and trying that dessert!

Of all the restaurants my girlfriend and I have been to in Perth. Mosmans has to be the finest. Though not Michelin star quality, it was very close.
The waiting staff is very friendly and professional. Best of all is the view. We spent at least 30 minutes outside taking photos of the surrounding views.

Perfect place to bring your partner! Romance 101 ladies and gents! All I can say is food was perfect, service perfect, views perfect. One negative (which is completely my own problem) certain sections not heel friendly!!! Other than that slightly random comment, I will definitely be bringing my family and partner back here again! ¹⁰⁄₁₀

I went to Mosmans on a Thursday evening with a friend and discovered true Perth perfection.
Atmosphere: The gorgeous restaurant was only surpassed by the picturesque Swan River it was surrounded by
Service: Friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Polite, helpful and very professional.
Entrée: –Half a dozen natural oysters with fresh lemon: The oysters were fresh and juicy.
Lucky Bay scallops with crumb and wasabi mayonnaise: The scallops were cooked perfectly.
Mains: Baked salmon fillet, kaffir lime salt, mashed potatoes, wilted spinach, tzatziki. The skin on the salmon was crispy, the salmon cooked perfectly, the mash was creamy and the kaffir lime salt was something to die for.
Barramundi, pumpkin and rocket: The fish was cooked well and served on a generous bed of pumpkin. The creamy and flavourful pumpkin and sauce was a die for.
Dessert: The Assiette of Chocolate with chocolate and hazelnut mousse, white chocolate crème brûlée and 70% bitter chocolate sorbet. (gf) Designed to share!: Each dessert was gorgeous in it’s own right. All well balanced, cooked to perfection and delicious.
Summary: Mosmans really was perfection for me. You get what you pay for, and though it might not be suitable for an everyday meal it really will leave you feeling like a king or queen on a special day just for you. Pure luxury for the mouth and soul.

This is one of the finest restaurants in Perth. The food is fantastic and the service is the best I have found in Australia

Mosman’s doesn’t need me to tell them how great they are, they have plenty of awards to do that. The location is superb, floating over the swan river in what is one of Perth’s most upmarket suburbs. Specialising in seafood, the menu is decorated with offerings of salmon, tiger prawns, crabs, salads and baby squids. Not surprisingly a main dish averages at a cost of $ 45 and when combined with an entrée and a glass of wine, it can be quite a pricey dinner but then again, you won’t be going here every weekend, save it for a special occasion and make yourself feel special. If you want to feel very special, they also cater for weddings. My dreaming eyes wander at the thought of getting married here, you would have no trouble in pleasing everyone but you might have issue with paying bills ever again.
