Finally a kebab shop! Best kebabs in the western suburbs

I have to say I was quite surprised(and delighten) when this place popped up as it doesn’t fit in with the usual Mosman Park fare or the usual high prices. It is quite the addition to the Sunday evening(I can’t be bothered to cook) take out. I ordered the falafel kebab +the lot and it was only $ 8 which inlcuded 2 eggs, cheese, 2 sauces and a whole garden of salads. It wasn’t greasy at all and apart from a post Christmas inevitable indigestion, it didn’t leave the usual take-out taste in your mouth. It was delicious. The restaurant is run by a Turkish family and it shows.

This newly opened kebab shop has filled a gap in Mosman Park. At last! We can get greasy Turkish meaty treats right on our doorsteps! Huzzah! Although as it’s only open until 9.30 every night, it sadly can’t fulfil that oh so important kebab shop requirement of providing post-night out greasy fare. Nevertheless, when one can’t be bothered to cook and just wants a good old fashioned kebab, Nazar is there for one. The kebabs are pretty good — fairly standard kebabs, really. If you don’t fancy a kebab, they also serve burgers, pizzas, gozleme, pide and a variety of other snacks and meals. All the food is freshly prepared and hits the spot. It seems to be a popular place — every time I walk past it, no matter what time of day it is, there are plenty of people sitting outside on their patio seating area enjoying a tasty bit of munch. Welcome to the neighbourhood, Nazar Kebabs — I’m sure I’ll drop by again soon.
