We eat there at least once a week sometime twice. Best Jap food in lower north shore. Service fast. Food fresh and tasty. Try the fish cheeks. Sensational. I have never had the banquet but I’m told its fabulous. We walk out of Minos well fed and it has not broken the budget. Great value. That’s why we go back. Highly recommended.

Fitted in at short notice, had to be out the door in 90 minutes — no problem. Gyoza was outstandingly moist and succulent. The hotpot she ordered was very slow coming, but very nice, although the chicken was a little MIA in the mix overall. Chicken kara-age was great, although she thought it was too KFC like(whats your point?!) and the sashimi very nice selection. Re the previous reviewers comments on online booking, while we were there we saw two lots of people who had booked online turned away as the booking had not worked and they were fully booked — so peeps pick up the phone.

I just had dinner at Mino and I have to say that this was an AMAZING restaurant which has instantly become my favourite. Warning; this place is very popular and booked out(on a Sunday Night). Every single item I had was exceptional. Yes, that is right — every item. We had a feast; Entrees; — Pork Gyoza(6 pieces) $ 8.50 — Agedashi Tofu(4 pieces), $ 9.00 — Worth very cent. — Grilled duck breast with Japanese style tomato sauce, $ 18.00 — 3 Fish Sashimi(Salmon, Tuna, Kingfish — Entrée Size, 14 pieces), $ 18.00 Mains: — Wagyu Steak w/Teriyaki Miso Sauce, $ 24.00 — Amazing — Sukiyaki hotpot(Wagu beef, vegetable, tofu), $ 24.00 — I can still taste this, and I’m going back just to have it again!!! I would highly recommend trying this restaurant the next time you want Japanese, but make a booking first as they were very busy. **Update**: Book via phone, their ‘online booking’ has failed 2 out of 2 times…
