Popped in here for a quick bite to eat with some friends on a lunch break. Service was friendly and prompt for those in a rush. My Salmon sashimi was fresh, soft and cleanly cut. I also ordered rice paper rolls which tasted quite fresh despite already being pre-prepared, the rice paper hadn’t gone hard or inedible. For what you get I thought prices were a little high but at least you get quality food for your money.

This Asian fast-food shop is sister to Wok & Roll in Mosman Park. Edibles are the same but the space is quite different; it’s a lot more dine-in friendly. This branch on Hapmden Rd has a lot more space to work with, which is dotted with oriental nick-nacks and wall hangings. It is pretty newly furbished but ingeniously looks lived-in and charismatic. The seating is somewhat communal with four large wooden tables and each table is a little bit different from the other. Classic black and white tiles chequer the floors and walls against lashings of dark green. The decorations together form an eclectic, Eastern, meets Western dining space. The ready-to-eat lunches and dining layout make it easy for uni students and workers to nip in for a quick lunch. Unexpectedly, Wok & Roll have free Wi-fi and the service from the guy behind the counter is very hospitable. He’s not bad to look at either.
