Best laksa and chicken noodle soup(called floating market soup) around. Ingredients are really fresh and high quality — ie the chicken is all meat and no gristle/fat and veggies are colourful and flavoursome. Big serves at really affordable prices.

Awesome place! The food is absolutely delicious, with large servings for very little money($ 11-$ 13.80). The venue itself isn’t very special to look at or be inside, but if you have a decent group of friends, it doesn’t really matter. Completely worth a visit.

Wok On Inn has been around for years and years. It has been there since at least 2003 and probably even earlier and the same people still own and work there. The quality and portion size of the food has stayed the same over the years(AMAZING) over the years and the price has barely gone up. The menu is pretty straight forward: — Pick your noodle type — Pick your cooking style/flavours — Pick your protein Tofu/Beef/Chicken/Pork is $ 11 Seafood/Prawn/Squid/Combination is $ 13.80 They also do the most amazing, kick ass Laksa Noodle Soup. This is a seriously hearty meal, the bowl is huge and full to the brim. This still rates as one of my favourite Brisbane Laksa’s. The noodle dishes are very large too. We would often eat half, then ask for a take home container and finish the rest the next day — it was the perfect cheap student meal. The thai style is my favourite cooking style as it’s the one with the most spice. All dishes come full of vegetables as well as your preferred protein. The chicken satay sticks are also worth trying — the pieces of chicken are so big and meaty and the satay sauce is really thick and delicious. There’s a special meal deal for $ 28 — 2 x cans of drink, 2 x satay sticks, 4 x spring rolls and 2 x noodle or soup. I’m guessing that is meant to be for 2 people($ 14 each, bargain). But seriously if you can get through all of that with just 2 people, I will be impressed. You can seriously feed 3 – 4 people that much food. Just a warning :)

Best Chicken sticks in Brisbane. They do noodles too, all good, all cheap, but the chicken sticks are amazing!
