Not bad Pourhouse, not bad indeed. Considering the poor star-age on the establishment I thought that the coffee might have been a bit average, but I am determined to try every coffeehouse in my area and this is another notch to the belt. Whilst being a tiny hole in a wool store wall, you can also come by come standard baked goods like muffins and a comple of staple lunch options too, like a wrap/sandwiches. Or you can just grab what I grabbed and that was my delightful morning pick me up — a small skinny latte. I found it delicious. It was served at just the right temperature, the coffee was smooth and full and there was no bitter and gravelly aftertaste coupled with the fact that the service was friendly and chatty to boot. Thumbs up Pourhouse! I might be back to try again sometime soon.

Sucked in by the impressive latte art I have spied on Instagram I made a special trip out here this Sat morning to sample their brew. The whole experience has left me sadly disappointed If you’re driving good luck finding a nearby park — that’s my opening gripe reflecting the mood I’m in. They don’t do food apart from a takeaway slice of cake/muffin so I thought fist enough I’ll just grab one of these amazing looking coffees and be on my for a casual stroll around Florence & Skyring. I order a FW to takeaway the barista says«a large» on auto pilot I say yep, expecting a 12 oz, and when he charges me $ 4.50 I immediately get suspicious and sure enough I’ve just order a 16 oz ‘jug’ of coffee(about 450ml). As I finally look around and take in this small hall in the walk style establishment I find their price board on the wall — Small(8oz) $ 3.50, Medium(12oz) $ 4, Large(16oz) $ 4.50, standard prices no surprises there. To the coffee… this is where I get deflated having had such high expectations, Insipid and weak are the adjectives that come to mind. Maybe they skimp on espresso shots in a 16 oz but all I can say is that it was way too milky and flavourless. Looked good on Instagram but the old maxim of «never judge a book by its cover» was never truer!
