I can’t reveal the purpose for my visit to Barnes. You know how it is, patents pending, Edison and Telsa duelling for electrical supremacy, all that cool inventor stuff. What I can say is that I was visiting this store to purchase some materials for prototyping for a project we were working on. If you’re into plastics(or more disturbingly, if you microwave too much and plastics are into you), you’ll get a kick out of this store. I had no idea that the consumer level of plastic crafts and hardware was so extensive but they have a thorough range and the staff will help you select the right product for your project. Or, at least, that was the plan. Several prototypes in and I got the feeling that the girl who had helped us out might have unintentionally steered us in the wrong direction. It might have had something to do with all the secrecy and vagueness we employed when shopping here. Better luck next time. Despite this, I still recommend this store for anyone working on a project involving plastic or just kicking around an idea and wanting to try it out.
