My family has been visiting Dairy Bell for years; first when it was on Melbourne Street and now since its relocation to O’Connell Street North Adelaide it’s even more convenient. I guess you could say«it’s just an ice cream store». You walk in. There are buckets of ice cream. There are stools. There’s a TV mounted up in the corner. What makes Dairy Bell worthwhile is the price, flavours, and generosity of ice cream size. This is refreshing in the age of a new ice cream chains/franchises where you can easily pay more than $ 10 for one icecreamy dessert. Here, my family usually orders a kiddie cone each(just $ 3.50) which is larger than you might think. It’s a single cone with a massive couple of scoops on top. My husband also loves the hot fudge sundae; again it’s generous and delicious. There are different flavours on offer including licorice, and coffee ‘n cream. I recommend it. What’s more, there’s a fridge stocked with Dairy Bell take home tubs, again in all sorts of enticing flavours. I recommend it.
