Had the big breakfast and an Iced Chocolate. The only downside was that the toast was cold when it got to me, otherwise, absolutely incredible.

Met friends here for coffee and was nicely surprised. The store is light and bright yet still welcoming. There is outside seating available but was too cold for us tonight! The inside us reasonably large and comfortable. We only had coffee but the cakes looked mouth watering and so did the gelato. The coffee was great. The menu looked like a nice range of food was available and the breakfast menu was very well priced and is served until 3pm on the weekends!

Order two drinks a chocolate shake and iced mocha and they were not even consumable. If I could give no stars I would. Most disappointing café experience I’ve ever had.

Excellent coffee, but there is one staff member who continually struggles to handle food orders, I stopped going for 3 months but dropped in wednesday, coffee great but I’m still waiting for my croissant…

Really, really good coffee and chai, excellent, friendly service and some tasty treats to boot make this particular little café well worth a visit!

Friendly staff and average expresso. Unfortunately the vegetarian foccacia was dried out. The edges were so dry and with no filling making this part inedible. Yes it was mid-afternoon so perhaps dried out during the day nonetheless what is offered should be edible.

Un Caffe Bar, what can I say about you. For years I have travelled out of my way to come and sit in you. You have delcious coffee and an outdoor area. I feel like in the past few years you don’t care as much about me as I do you. Sometimes your staff aren’t as engaging as I would like but there are some really good eggs there too. I now work right near you and look forward to many happy coffee times together.

30÷1÷2012 Alison P nailed this review! Wait, what? Another red coffee shop in Adelaide? I’mma check this out. What better way to continue my hot café streak? (Good looking café… I can’t lie. The choice of red is impressive. And the coffee? It’s good too!) But walking into this coffee shop made me feel something. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe it’s the diverse mix of customers sitting down here, from electricians, Mums, kids, best friends, young single adults so focussed on their laptops. I observed that all the baristas are also very energetic at work, running around, making sure every table received their time quickly. I loved it! Free wi-fi, relatively good coffee, menu selections(there are other drinks to choose from, apart from coffee). Four stars for the baristas getting their jobs done quickly, and your order is made and delivered right on time. They look like they actually care a bit about getting to their customers, which is a great sign. Must I also add I spent my(very quiet) 21st birthday here, one late night in mid-April, with a few of my best friends from Adelaide. When I was younger, I used to have loud crowded, yet well-behaved, parties every April, so this was a bit of a nice change for me to spend it here.

When I’m on the way to Uni in the morning, I look at the clock, then make the rationalisation that if I’m going to be late I might as well snap out of my zombie-like morning blues. I drop into here on O’Connell St(the most Connelly of all the streets). Grab a fresh cup and watch the passersby on their way to their respective adventures for the day. The service is exemplary. Although I’m not a coffee fantatic, I usually drink it to feel like a normal person, I have to say they make a good cup of cappuccino.

This is a regular haunt when meeting one of my best friends and her 4 year old son for coffee and a catch up. It is an airy clean café with a mixture of seating styles, including my personal favourite, the upholstered bench style. I have always found the staff to be accommodating and«kid friendly». It is always fun people watching here as you get a mixture of the well heeled North Adelaide variety shopping in their best outfits as well as the beautiful people in their gym gear running up the escalators to the Good Life to top up the toning. I have been to some other Un Caffe Bars where the coffee has been fairly ordinary but this one is measurably better and very drinkable. Last time I was there I discovered a wonderful new cool drink. My daughter ordered a raspberry crush and it was absolutely divine — you could actually taste the wonderful bitter sweetness of the berries themselves and it was very refreshing. Car parking is easy as their is a large underground car park which is free for the first two hours of sipping coffee and people watching.

Surprisingly the Cibo God overlooked popular O’Connell St as a possible location for cibo-ing goodness so as a second resort the Un Caffe Bar God stepped in to fill his shoes. The café is located right at the entrance of the North Adelaide Village and because of that gains great exposure from the foot traffic walking past. There is also ample outside seating which is attractive in those hot summer months. The one thing I really like about Un Caffe Bar is the range of reading material available to help you expand your mind over your coffee and foccacia. I am a big fan of places that provide something to read, especially if you are there by yourself and trying not to look like too much of an obvious loner. The ‘background’ music was however, very much in the foreground and was a little intrusive on general conversation. It really would be more ambient if they turned it down. Having said that the coffee is good and the little chocolate éclair I sampled was most definitely filled with calories but definitely so delicious that you didn’t really care. The staff were a little abrupt and did somewhat ‘slam’ my friend’s drink on our table which was a little rude.
