Love this place! I’ve been here a number of times for both breakfast and lunch and have always enjoyed the food and the amazing service. :) they are great size portion meals that are affordable and tasty. :) plus their coffee is great too! Only downfall is waiting in line for a seat because it’s so good we all want to go!

Well, after visiting a few places in Nundah I decided to grab a cup of tea before I headed off to catch the train, and this place was conveniently located across the road, so I decided to step in and grab some takeaway. I have to say that the staff were pretty prompt in serving be, and before I knew it I had a steaming hot cup of tea in my hands that was made just the way I like it(and surprisingly it can be a task making the perfect cup of tea). They do have a separate window for the takeaway section, which is quite convenient, as well as a sitdown area. However the fact that they made sure that I was attended to makes me want to give this place the thumbs up.

Sub par. Not impressed. They took too long to seat us, when we could see empty tables, then the food was cold, and I was especially disappointed with the hash browns because I was looking forward to them. They were a bit eggy, had a weird consistency and were way too salty. I was very disappointed. I’ll be saving my money for slightly twisted next time.

I had the«Nundah», sourdough, poached eggs, mushroom, pesto and balsamic. It was good, but if I have to be picky the balsamic could be better quality, pesto could have a stronger flavour. Service on a Saturday morning, with the place being close to full, was very quick and very friendly!

Living in Nundah this is our fave breakfast café! It’s walking distance and always packed on the weekend. We don’t seem to wait for long though to get a table. We have been there a few times now and the service is alway great! I love the junior eggs and bacon! The price is good and it’s a decent serving! I came here with my dad and only stools were available but the gentlemen at the door made sure we had a booth so dad could be more comfortable which was really nice service! Only giving 4 stars as I haven’t tried much of the menu or any of the lunch menu but I’m sure it’s great too!

Worst coffee ever! Super burnt/scalding milk and the coffee was a mix of burnt and maybe stale? It’s early Monday so I’m thinking it’s coffee in the grinder after a day off? But there are a few patrons so maybe it’s more than that. It’s bad enough that I can’t help but think it’s just a lousy operator. Never been here before and definitely won’t be back. Either previous posters have no taste buds or I’ve just scored the worst barista ever on his first(& last?) day ever. Staff were friendly otherwise, and as it was a takeaway I’ve no idea about how they might handle a complaint. Other patrons eating and drinking so maybe I’m just the odd one out. If you go, try your takeaway BEFORE you leave! Disappointed, but also recognise that it might simply be a one off. Caution recommended!

The place to enjoy breakfast in the north of Brisbane City. Previously, on a Saturday you may have had to wait 15 minutes or so due to the popularity of this place despite the amount of competition in Nundah. People won’t wait to be seated unless the food is worth it, and it really is! I say previously as Jam is going under some restorations at the moment so the amount of seating may change. I don’t really know. My wife and I have only tried the breakfast menu and have now stuck with the Eggs Benedict as it is simply that good. Service is more than acceptable but the selling factor is the quality of food. You won’t regret it.

My partner and I ventured to Jam early one Saturday before our day got hectic. We were given menus as we sat and given a few minutes to order. The special(poached eggs on toasted sourdough w/chorizo-potato croquettes, creamed spinach, Roma tomato + bacon) looked good so we both ordered that. My partner and I have wanted to come to Jam for a while so were happy to be able to give it a try early Saturday morning. Small but well laid out, and they’re having renovations done early October. Staff were friendly, though a little slow in taking down our order. Fortunately we think she had only just started and heard the manger instructing her on how to better take orders. Staff were friendly enough, but nothing I would rave about. Okay, breakfast. The bacon and eggs were nothing special. But oh my gosh, the creamed spinach and the croquettes were fantastic. What wasn’t fantastic was the reaction of the manager when I said how nice they were. Almost dismissive. I, personally, am quite unimpressed with that. By the time we finished it was starting to get busy, so if you’re looking for a relaxing breakfast I’d suggest heading down around 7am when thy open. All in all, it was nice. But I won’t be in a rush to go back.

I’ve been wanting to visit Jam 4012 café for ages, but it’s always super busy on the weekends and I find it hard to resist bagels from C-Word when I’m in Nundah. However I finally dragged myself along and was really really impressed. We managed to get in just before 11:30am and the waiter reminded us that breakfast ends then. So we just managed to get our orders in. My husband ordered the Classic — Savoury mince, fried egg on corn bread and I ordered the daily breakfast special — Prosciutto wrapped eggs, bacon and a pepper and spinach medley. Oh wow, the meals were so amazing and delicious. Big portions too. The savoury mince was so well cooked — it was so thick and had been stewed for ages. The café, like many in Nundah is dog-friendly, so you can sit on one of the outside tables with your dog.

Jam is really cool place to go. It’s quite small but very relaxing, the music is good and the staff is friendly. It’s really a shame it’s only open until 2.30pm but I guess that’s also part of its charm because you want to get in before they close. Last time I was there I got a chicken burger and it was great. The price was very reasonable. I also ordered one of their milkshakes, which are worth a try(anything berry is fine by me). My friend does strongly recommend the corn cakes, which are apparently the best he’s ever tasted. It’s a lovely place, pretty quiet despite being next to a relatively busy road. A big reason for that, I think, is how comfortable you feel here.

Jam 4012 is just a really delightful place to have lunch and a coffee. It has a really laid back atmosphere; the type that suits a lazy Saturday afternoon where you’ve just been out shopping and you want an easy lunch solution without the noise or the crowds. You can meander in and find a seat and the staff are instantly at your side to take your order. Their specials board is actually a mirror, which I thought was really quite charming, actually, so you can peruse the specials while you pretend you aren’t checking your hair or your makeup or that you haven’t gotten food on your face. It’s a great little place for families too where kids are welcome and their colouring in is celebrated by being strewn across the front counter for all to see. There are also gig and even posters on the far wall to give you something to look at while you eat after you’ve become bored of yourself in the specials mirror. The servings at Jam 4012 are very generous, the staff is warm, friendly, and quick to attend to you, and they make an excellently strong coffee. Jam 4012 is a great place for a relaxing lunch or coffee. Such a pleasant experience and a really fantastic meal.
