Wok in a Box does a fairly good job of producing rice & noodle dishes in a fast food setting. I first found the Norwood store, which always seemed to have a queue waiting, and was very happy when Parkside opened, offering a closer store and far shorter waiting times. These days, Wok in a Box has a lot more competition, and the menu lost it’s biggest drawcard for me, Duck meat. They used to make an amazing Udon noodle dish, with duck, which had a sauce with a little ginger in it, and it was a taste you couldn’t find elsewhere — if they still had that, I’d give them four stars — as it is, they’re ok, but there really isn’t much you can’t find elsewhere. Parkside is still quick and efficient at getting the orders out, and a good option if you’re looking for an easy meal. They have on site parking, and a few tables you can use if you want to eat in.
