If you find yourself in Parramatta feeling confused and stressed by the one way streets and pedestrian mall that make navigation difficult, make your way to Parramatta Park, drive in, drive some more and drive some more and you’ll find yourself at Parramatta Park Café. This popular and peaceful café by the river will make you forget you’re in bustling Parramatta. The food and drink is standard old school café fare. Chicken burgers, BLTs, everything served with thick cut chips. Perfectly edible. It’s not cheap but at about $ 25 per person all up for lunch it won’t break the bank either. This is a good family place and that’s their target market. My only advice is to choose your lunch companions carefully. They don’t split bills. I came for a catch up with«family friends». A mix of oldies, parents with kids of varying ages and me. Groups of this demographic are very nickel and dimey so if you don’t have the right cash it can get very complicated. If you’re in the area and want a private little spot away from the grind then this is a good option.

Nice location. The food was ordinary and the service friendly but slow, perhaps due to the Sunday morning traffic but slow anyway.

Nice location! There are some good dishes here too, the fish and chips are good, and in general they do decent brunch stuff. Coffee is OK as well, no fancy stuff so pretty average. Prices are a little high but not terrible. They do catering in a separate room next door.
