Love this spot! My son loves to play in the cubby house out the back, while mummy enjoys the best coffee out:) #winning

A perfect Sunday morning breakfast! We needed to find somewhere close to home early on a Sunday morning. We arrived at 8:30am and were surprised at how busy the place was! We found a seat and were greeted immediately with menus, water and coffee orders taken. Due to how busy the café was, we waited a little bit until our order was taken. Perfectly acceptable while casually reading the Sunday paper. It seems to be a very popular local haunt. We ordered the special of green eggs and ham and the mushroom and Avo smash. Both were absolutely delicious, generous portion sizes and so well presented. The eggs cooked perfectly on both dishes and just the right amount of seasoning. Now we’ve found this gem we will definitely be back. It’s a huge space with a great breakfast, brunch and lunch menu including wine, beer and cocktails!

I kept seeing Jack & Daisy in my Unilocal feed, so thought I should check it out as it is just up the road from home. Having got in touch with a regular through Unilocal,we arranged to meet there for a Saturday morning coffee. Judging by the number of people and lack of empty tables, this place has quite a following. And from what I know, it is the only decent café for some distance all directions. We both had two lattes, and they were awesome. I’m guessing Toby’s Estate coffee as there was a Toby’s sign in the window, and it tasted like other cafes’ coffee where I know Woolloomooloo is the house blend. Fantastic footpath seating, although there are only five outside tables. I didn’t eat, but the menu looks great and I was told it has been refreshed recently. The staff were more than happy for us to sit and not even look at the menu for a while, which pleases me immensely. I know the bills get paid by serving people and flipping tables, but I hate being pressured out the door or into ordering something more. With a liquor license and plans to start set menu or themed dinners, this is a café to watch. If you live within a few kilometers it is also worth the journey to discover it. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Great mid week service, for the corporate folks out there. Always friendly and efficient in helping people get caffeinated before work. Serving Coffee Supreme in a professional manner. the staff may not remember your name but they do remember your coffee order!

Having lived in pascoe vale for most of my 27 years I can honestly say that this is the first café I have been to in the area more than once. The coffee is amazing, perfect temperature and quick. The breakfast is always done well and offer a slight twist on hash browns which are crunchy and more ish. The lunch menu is limited but that means that whatever you order it is always delicious. I suggest the shnitzwala with the fresh tangy coleslaw. Yum. Thinking about it makes my mouth water. We have been coming here weekly for the last 5 months and I can’t imagine ill stop any time soon.

Jack and Daisy is a favourite of mine as it is the only decent café within cooee of my workplace, and it is certainly the only good place once you head from Pascoe Vale towards Craigieburn. I have loved this place since my first visit because of the friendly staff — they give great service and are never too busy to stop and make small talk. Second visit back they remembered my coffee order(with two weeks in between is no small feat) so they endeared themselves to me twofold at that point. The food has generous servings and is always fresh(and never overcooked — bonus points). It is also available in takeaway. The cake cabinet is a delight, especially if you have small people with you. Lots of cupcakes and cookies in pretty shapes and colours, but not too big to cause a hyperactive sugar rush! While the inside is nice, the courtyard is where it is at. At one point the café must have been a cottage, because there is a lovely long backyard which has been laid out with fake grass, some lovely landscaping and, the cherry on top, a huge playhouse underneath the big gum tree. I must admit during a windy Melbourne day, it is a warm spot to waste a few hours reading the paper as it is protected from the wind by the big tree and the high fences. If you want to avoid the kiddies out the back, you can always pop onto one of the cute sidewalk tables out the front. J&D have kept it nice with hanging baskets filled with lovely flowers and a cute little fence to soften the urban vibe from busy Cumberland Road. All in all, Jack and Daisy’s is a pleasure to be at if you find yourself on this side of town. Unlike the West which is undergoing a massive boom as the inner city areas like Fitzroy fill up, the far North has yet to undergo the same renaissance. Pascoe Vale is a suburb on the move — it is green and leafy with cute houses and nice parks. Jack and Daisy is a valuable addition to the area which I’m sure the residents appreciate.
