Passchendales Accessories

Well Passchendales– alluring and inviting at the same time.
I had the contradictory pleasure spiked with pain encounter with Passchendales just last week. Cruising through the Carillion city I couldn’t help but notice the longest shop name in the whole centre– intruiged I got closer. Upon approach a saw a serious, (not quite sour faced but certainly bitter sweet) woman and as I’d seen No photography signs plastered throughout the store I thought I should simply be in the moment.
The accessories are quite becoming and the fascinators were tasteful– I even found myself appreciating some of them (which broke through a new threshold for me) but the hats are breath taking. One in particular, featured on the centre table was the most beautiful, outrageous– magnetic hat I have ever seen. It also served well as a shield from the shop assistant and as I marvelled at the use of pastel candy colours and negative space I delicately reached for the price tag, fantasising that perhaps one day I could own such a magnificent creation– just as I saw the $ 1300 price tag the woman sharply quipped «It is a precariously balanced display!» Gosh– It was hardly a deck of cards but her tone and dismissive nature made me embarrassed and I quickly said «It is a beautiful hat and I would never knock your display.» before leaving the store and vowing to meet with that hat again– without the curt shop assistant to separate us!
The products are beautiful, a bit fancy pants, and priced accordingly– but the customer service, or lack there of, makes the shop a bit too exclusive for my liking, maybe they are slightly friendlier when the displays are one level?
