What a dissapointment!!! We came in a group of 6 people for some after beach food. We left only 2 people had eaten… The rest of us gave up after seeing the kitchen area and experienced the cashier… The place is divided up with 3 diff places to order — cash only, rude staff and food was booring and tasteless…

Peter’s by the Sea café a family run business for decades. What a sensational location in front of the ocean of Scarborough Beach. This busy open café come summer through to winter. Fast service here not to keep you waiting. Open all hours till late from a night out looking for a snack or a sit down meal. Come casual dress off the beach or you just want to relax after your brothers wedding. During the day never a dull moment enjoying a swim, soaking up that tan, just passing by or watching some of our best sunsets. Prices at this open café to suit all from fish n chips, kebabs, all sorts of burgers to a delicious T-bone steak salad n chips and is licensed. Cheers

Really enjoy hitting the beach, then coming up to Peters By The Sea for a feed. It’s comfortable with a great range. Chips are perfection. I usually prefer this to other places on the strip because it’s so casual. You can walk in with thongs and a bit of sand on you and not feel out of place.

Peter’s was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the hustle bustle of Scarbs. chips were amazing, cooked to perfection, I had the chicken kebab. and it was good, But I had a Nicks kebab not long ago, and I couldn’t help but compare. Where Nicks is a solid 10, this kebab was around the 7⁄8. the chicken bits were a bit too big for a kebab. There’s no eftpos at this store, which I find a little baffling in this day and age, I have definitely converted to never having cash on me, specially when planning to go to the beach. other than that, I have no complaints. it was a lovely lunch sitting with my friends enjoying the summer day
