Brand new joint located at the Western end of Hay street, just before you hit the freeway overpass, heading towards Parliament. Predominantly Vietnamese, you can get your anglicised egg and bacon long crusty roll for breakfast for a mere $ 5.60. They make it for you right on the spot, even toast the bun on the outside to make it super crispy. I’d suggest that’s the best value in town. I also had the dumpling soup for breakfast and, at a similar price, I was a very happy camper. The soup has a delicious broth, a couple of really tasty pork dumplings that are so bursting with flavour they can only be hand-made. Add to that a couple of sweet treats of bok choy and coriander(minus the spring onion for me) and that’s a decent way to start the day. The salads are prepared fresh daily and look pretty good. I’ve yet to try more, but note they do the Banh Mi rolls and other of your Vietnamese favourites. Stop in and check it out.
