I liked this place. Nice seating out the back on benches(where we sat) and also on the breezy sidewalk. We ordered lamb souvlakis, chips, tzatziki, greek salad, and all was pretty yummy and reasonably priced. With such a combo though its hard to go wrong though :)!

YUM! Every single item on my tray was just SO good(and I went for the biggest tray available on the menu). Huge value for money! I was still feeling bloated full after the 2 km walk back home…(smarter people than me would just avoid finishing every single crumb on the tray including salads and chips but rather focus their efforts on the awesome meat & dips & cheese) Service so quick you wouldn’t believe it: despite it was packed, we had our massive tray served to us in under 10 minutes! These people will see me again… And again… And again!

Just like the souvlaki I had in Santorini! Beautiful! Fast friendly service and fresh food! Get in early as the lamb starts to run out towards the middle of the night and make sure to try the spicy feta dip!

«This might be your first time, but it won’t be your last» says one of the chefs cheerily making chit-chat while I wait for my take away order. Quite rightly; he’s spotted a gal that thinks meat, chips and slaw is an unmissable combo. Skewerd would fall into the category of awesome and fresh ‘fast food’, or super casual(but awesome) dining options. This Greek eatery is easily one of the best on Bay St for a quick meal or take out. I was going to ask for a Souvlaki… but priced at $ 9 I wondered if perhaps it might be too small for dinner. Not wanting to come back in the cold, I got the ‘Yeeros Plate for One’($ 17). Holy mother of meat. The photo doesn’t do justice to the mountain of chicken, slaw, pita bread and chips I encountered. I over ate. I ate until I couldn’t eat any more — then put the left overs in the fridge. My partner came home late and made not one but two souvlakis out of my left overs with some extra pita breads we just happened to have in the fridge. He said he wished he had only eaten one and saved the other for lunch. So the plate for one could effectively be a meal for 3 without a lot of effort! The food itself is very tasty. The cabbage salad wasn’t great, but worked ok with the dish as a whole. They have beer and wine as a dine-in option, so the restaurant portion was packed full of families settling in for a meal. Meat + chips = crowd pleaser.

Great combinations, extremely fresh and tasty Greek cuisine. Nice venue, albeit somewhat small, although they are extending. Served on wooden boards as seems to be the hip way these days — this I could do without! Otherwise, really good option for a quick, tasty and wholesome meal. Kali Orexi!
