Wow Just wow Menu is extremely interesting, food in executed very well and service real quick(ok, ok, I was there on a weekday…) Again, do not attempt to get there with a toddler and a newborn in a pram(unless it’s warm enough to sit outside)…

Seven AM has been open for seven years, it’s a proud moment for the team and it’s time for them to celebrate and they also decided to rebrand their interior design as well as upgrading their game

Great coffee port Melbourne price $ 4 a cup but food is great. A place you want to take your guest friends from out of town. One of the best Breakfast type places I like.

Very comfortable café in port melbourne! Unlike other cafés around there, seven am is a petite café and good place to have relaxing breakfast :) They have an adequate delicious menu! You can make your own omelette and the porridge is yum too The service is great and the staffs are professionally chill. The price is not too bad for a café, although they might want to add the portion a little bigger I reckon because I wasn’t very full, or maybe it’s just me

I have been wanting to check out seven: am for some time, following some glowing recommendations. A friend of a friend works here, but keeping my honest Unilocaler hat on, this review is unbiased. So I arrived, grumpy, tired and hungry following a blunder with the tram. The place was a buzz with Saturday brunchers, but we were greeted straight away by a friendly staff member and ushered to our seats. Coffee STAT! Was my first thought, so I got my order in for a flat white. The friend of a friend actually made it, so I was hoping it would be good. Thankfully it was good, in fact really good. Then to the food. Being almost lunch time I decided to flip my usual breakfast script and order one of the lunch choices. My order dispatched for a chilli dog, I sat and soaked up the ambiance while I waited. The dog eventually arrived, and hot diggity dog, this thing was awesome. I like spice and the chilli had a good kick to it, whilst not being too overwhelming. The bread was soft with a crunch and the beef sausage topped off the ensemble perfectly. I’m glad to say I really liked this place. It’s relaxed and has a good vibe about it. I will definitely come back here when I’m next in this neck of the woods.

I became a regular at seven AM when I was living in Port Melbourne and for good reason. The coffee is always great no matter who is standing behind the machine. The menu is a winner with some different breakfast items on there as well as great daily specials. The café itself is pretty small but that’s what’s so enticing about the place. The staff are always friendly and after only a few visits have memorized your coffee order and will always great you by name. It does get busy on the weekends at the usual times but wait times for tables are pretty reasonable. I’ve never waited longer than 5 minutes. When your next on Bay Street drop on in and become part of the family

I have been meaning to write a review about this place for quite some time. This was one of the first brunch spots I’ve been to when I came to visit Melbourne close to 2 years ago and have slowly tried over a dozen more places and none compare to SevenAm! Their attention to detail and consistency is really what makes this place stand out. I can always trust that the coffee and food I order will be amazing. Its the one place in Port Melbourne that I don’t cringe at the prices because the quality is that good. Not only is the food and coffee fantastic, but the service is amazing as well! George is one of the main servers there and he doesn’t give off a pretentious or snobby vibe like some of the hospitality workers at other coffee shops(ahem…st Ali’s) It is such a relaxed environment that despite its popularity it still maintains that cozy«mom and pop» shop vibe that I love. Absolutely love the smash for brunch and the duck sandwich for lunch time!

Has this place changed hands? Went back today and the meal was tiny — and still $ 22(for some avocado, one poached egg and one piece of toast). Coffee great as always but c’mon guys…

Always love a breakfast menu where there’s too many good options for you to choose between! The Chili Scrambled Eggs is delicious and something new, however I was still very hungry after it and was a bit disappointed that it was served on only one half of a bagel. The staff are friendly which always encourages you to return!

I have been coming to seven: am sporatically for about a year now and I must say that is going to have to change. This place is fast becoming my favourite on Bay St, mostly due to a fantastic new menu. On last visit, something just seemed different. The staff were more attentive, the new menu is brimming with things I’m dying to try, the coffee was great and the vibe was nice. Had to update my review as I previously said it was very dark which felt a bit uninviting — but then I went in again to see it’s had a minor facelift and much brighter now. Not due to this review but by coincidence! Having increased my visits I will definitely say the food is my fav of the cafes I frequent in the area. One to check out.
