Mofo Lounge

Lovely little shisha bar off Greville st. We came here for a nice little escape after dinner Saturday evening. Very chill/​relaxed vibe. Just newly renovated. They have beer/​drinks/​tea etc and reasonably priced.

Mofo Lounge is a great little escape from the otherwise very busy and bustling Chapel Street. Tucked away just down Greville Street, Mofo Lounge is predominantly used for private functions, but it is also open to the general public during the week.
On Tuesday’s they offer 2−4−1 Tapas as well as free Tarot Readings, this is great for a bit of fun, the Tapas selection is very tasty indeed. It features a Moroccan and Middle Eastern inspired menu, there is plenty of flavoursome dishes to nibble on while you take a look into the future.
The venue itself follows along the Morrocan style theme, with it’s interior decoration in rich hues of red and gold and it’s traditional wall hanings and atmosphere. Mofo Lounge is perfect for a few quiet drinks with friends, or even for hosting your own private function or event.

It’s always good to come here for a nice intimate time, to share a few drinks with friends. Now that I think about it, I don’t know why I don’t come here more often. I am a fan of the quiet little places where you can still hear the person you are trying to talk to whilst you sip on a Mojito.
Sadly I have never been invited but I hear that they also have a function room upstairs which is meant to be really good. I have been to a function downstairs though and know that it’s a great unique idea if you’re trying to find somewhere for you next birthday.
