Sometimes there’s nothing better than a simple pub meal like a good steak, mash and carrots, paired with a refreshing beer. I ended up here one day for lunch with a dear friend who shares my appreciation of Gerard Butler. He informed me that the traditional pub vibe is spiced up with cabaret shows at this Sydney gay venue. I guess this is when the place comes alive because that day it was pretty much dead apart from a couple of interesting characters. The service is friendly enough and the food is decent but the pub lacks atmosphere.
