Swan Street Chamber of Commerce

I adore this concept. Various pop-​ups co-​sharing the space in an old bank on Swan St that will be developed into ANOTHER pub in the near future.
Part of me wishes it would just stay the way it is now rather than become another pub.
On the current rotation of pop-​ups there is Willis & Co coffee and pastries, ice cream sandwiches (OMG so good), healthy food from Fit Inn and the cinema upstairs. Previous tenants included Rustica, Pressed Juices and Storm in a Teacup. I am keen to see who else might pop up. Yes, pun intended.
They also have food trucks that visit and park out the back on various occasions. Either way, get yourself down there to try those ice cream sandwiches, even in the cold weather — you won’t be disappointed!

The old Chamber of Commerce building is now home to a pretty great set of businesses! Creating the setting for a range of pop-​ups, you’ll actually find a whole lot to eat, drink and do here.
Downstairs you can currently get everything from coffee and pastries to ice cream sandwiches or waffles and cereal.
Upstairs is home to Storm in a Teacup and ‘The Val’ (Valhalla Social Cinema). The Val is a small theatre showing cult classic and independent films on Friday and Saturdays.
To top it off? They also host food trucks in the evening for dinner.
This makes it a fun space to check out at any time of day really! Today I went in for a hot cross bun (it’s never too early!) and an iced filter coffee — next time I want to check out a flick, eat dinner and devour an ice cream sandwich.
Sticking around until September — I hope to be a regular between now and then!

So much yes! This is dangerously close to where I live and I have already spent a small fortune on pressed juice, I love love love them & well i don’t exactly eat my required intake of fruit and veg so I feel super good about my insides when I sip of there green juices, which are amazing & tasty & super good for you!
I then ruin that all by moving over the the ice cream sandwich pop up… Well red velvet cookies and salted caramel ice come at me, all day everyday! YUM!!! Words simply don’t express, it is also pretty cool that they let you step behind the stall into what used to be the old bank safe. Yeap pretty boss.
There are different food trucks out the back most days, just follow them on social media & you will be updated on which food truck to expect & what hours they will be about for. I am yet to try the movies section, it is on my to do list but I am super excited to sit back watch a movie, sip my pressed juice, eat me a soft shell crab burger & finish it all off with an ice cream sandwich.
