This funky space offers punters an all-round experience to create bespoke photos as statement pieces service. It’s high end, family and user friendly. The process here is rather lengthy and involved. It almost feels as if you are being interviewed for a job rather than a portrait session. After making a booking, your personal photographer has a friendly«chat» with you. Canvassing your ideas, appeals, likes/dislikes etc. It’s around a 25min quick chat with quite a lot of personality styled questions. During this time you are heavily encouraged to bring in many, many items to declare yourself and style. I think we disappointed with only two outfit changes and two little dogs. On arrival to the studio you are welcomed by friendly staff and beverages. I think your stretching the artist wand by calling this a café setting. Concrete floors, crème leather couches and no barista on site. The photographer was wonderful to deal with. She was excellent in dealing with our two little naughty dogs, who for once were very well behaved. It was a mild struggle to explain to the staff here on site that we were not interested in deep, meaningful lovingly romantic style shots. It seemed that we didn’t fit in the little box of couple expectations. A handy hint is to be prepared to meet their expectations. So bring lots of stuff, lots of smiles and an open mind. Be aware that they only offer fully mounted or photobooks. There is no option to purchase loose photos or digital images. The price starts at $ 400.
