A little disappointed in the food considering the 5 star rating. Ordered fish and chips with calamari. Fish was ok(didn’t taste fresh) however the calamari(which I was told were fresh) didn’t taste like it at all. Would have expected a little better in food quality considering they weren’t busy. Maybe there was a reason for this also. Would I go back, not if I had another choice.

every Once in a while you come across a place, where you are torn — do you keep it a secret to yourself, because it is so good, or do you tell the world and run the risk of it becoming popular and ergo harder to get into. IN this instance, I have faith in the three young lads running the place, that they will remain true to the quality and service. Basic Fish and Chips, done well, and I am sure, that these young lads will develop the menu while not compromising the quality. Hidden in a quiet little non-descript suburban street this fish and chip shop has charming service, excellent food, and is well prepared, and is very reasonably priced.(Lunch for 5 was about $ 35.) There are some tables on the footpath outside, but it is across the road from a park with a kids playground and a covered picnic table– the owners were happy to bring our food across the road to us there.

This would have to be the best fish and chip shop I have been to in a long time, I have had the fish grilled and crumbed and it tasted fresh and perfectly cooked both times, along with the chips that were exceptional, the only bad point would be that there is no eftpos is available.
