We are a family run business and we love to have families of all ages in to enjoy our food, we want to take food back to what it used to be — fresh and delicious with no added chemicals. Our chef’s prepare all our food on site including sausages, jams, cakes and much more plus we offer boutique catering specifically designed to suit each person’s individual requirements.
History
Established in 2008.
We officially rebranded to the Fat Badger Café in May 2016 after previously being known as the Black Kettle Café. With our growing and changing family we felt it was time to work on bringing all the improvements we have made in the past few years together and make a fresh start with a greater emphasis on fresh, local and ethical.
Meet the Business Owner
Julie L.
Business Owner
Julie is an English expat who moved to Australia some years ago with her family, today she and her son Nick run the business directly with much interference from the rest of their well intentioned family. Both Julie and Nick have a great deal of experience within the food industry in both England and Australia and want to share their love of good food and celebration with everyone through both their café and their boutique catering business.
