I know, I know… Go to a Steakhouse/Burger joint and order a salad– a little bit lame but so, so worth it! Although the service was super slow(it was lunch time and they were quiet so I’ll forgive them) Grilling Art makes a KILLER Chicken and Avocado Salad! A little on the pricey side but definitely tasted worth it. Great addition to the little shops on the corner of Rode Road.

Went for dinner with the fam. 3 adults, 1 child. Drink and meal for everyone was $ 100. Food was cheap and tasted good. Drinks were overpriced and we all got the wrong spirit. Requested rum and got red rum, got johnny walker when asked for something else. Food was nice. Especially for burger price compared to specialist places like Urge or Grilled. I had americano, mum a mushroom and gf a pulled pork. Mine was great, mums good, gf’s terrible. Pulled pork had caramelised onion with tonnes of balsamic vinegar then burger covered with aioli. Too strong and tasted yucky. Will go back again to try other burgers next time. But may just get take away.

I’m not normally a fan of these gourmet burger joints, but it is safe to say that Grilling Art has converted me — having now been there on multiple occasions. Although this is primarily a burger joint, they also have a great selection of steakhouse dishes. All the meals I’ve had have been fancy, well presented and served in generous portions. They also have a great variety of drinks — be sure to try their lemon lime and bitters cocktail! The ambience and service is fantastic, although I’d avoid the booths as they are a little too tight for my liking. The place can get quite busy on Fridays and weekends, so book ahead.

Nice décor, easy parking, friendly service(although midmorning and no other customers during our visit) I had the bacon benny. Wow. Large serve on a large sourdough thick slice. Poached eggs made as runny or hard as you like. Nice. Coffee was average. No complaints though. Frappes are interesting. My son ordered the strawberry one. Huge glass. Huge smile. The chickafloss(croissant with salad and chicken floss) was not available so my wife ordered a muffin. Stock standard flavours. The kaya toast was interesting. lemon honey butter and a sweet green sauce that I’m still trying to figure out. Enjoyable. I didn’t get to enjoy the grilling art on any steak or chicken during this visit. Lunch or dinner next time.

Classy burgers come to The ‘Burbs! Quite an ambitious project bringing a very classy restaurant to this locale and to then serve burgers. But this lovely young couple have pulled it off. A nice selection of burgers with some great basics through to some fancy options including chicken and salmon. However… Some basic burgers should stay just that. Basic. Great chips. Great selection of drinks(soft) Nice cold fridge and some specialist ginger beer and sarsaparilla from Cascade. Support this local burger joint because it would be a shame to lose such quality burgers from so close to my home!
