I’m with Nadine P. Esprit needs help with their marketing campaign and branding image if mid-twenties equate Esprit with older ladies(Nadine P.) or kids(me). Who would have guessed that Esprit even carries men clothing. Apparently, neither of us. This is store filled with basic cotton tops, pants, and dresses. And, along with the basic goods, you’ll get basic service too(i.e. someone will check you out at the register). This is as far as «service» goes. Two workers were standing by the dressing room drinking their coffee, not folding clothes nor helping customers in/out of the dressing room. Clearly, Esprit needs to train their workers on how to «serve» clientele. I also found it completely misleading how signs were all over the store for a percentage off, but that was only on tops(not on jean skirts). Unlike Nadine P., I completely understand denim skirts and love them. Pair them with some cowboy boots and giddy-up… But, I am not about to pay full-price for one.

I always thought of Esprit as more of a mom shop; they have good casual and basic t-shirts and tops but most of their stuff always seem to be a bit outdated and not exactly trendy. However when I saw that the fabulous model Erin Wasson was in their window and that the wonderful Gisele Bundchen was going to be in their March campaign I decided to go have a look and see if my judgment was correct. Although I did see some things that weren’t my taste at all(I just don’t understand denim skirts), I saw others that I was rather impressed with, they have a great collection of classical cuts(maybe this is where the mom comment came from) like tailored jackets, pants and blouses perfect for work and I’m starting to believe that it was also my style that was questionable and has changed since I last came in because I was happily surprised by most of what I saw.
