Awful awful awful
I am forced to listen to this drivel at work almost every day.
They play the same songs on a 2 – 3 hr rotation so if you’ve got an 8 hr work day you can be lucky enough to hear justice crews hideous new song up to 3 times in the day…
And every day is exactly the same… and on top of that you have mindless presenters talking absolute cr@p & annoying ads
I would rather listen to a dying cat than this rubbish

Nova is the step up from 92.9 and the step down from Triple J. They play a lot of commercial chart hits, which I honestly only listen to if I’m playing the radio while driving so it can be fun to hear what’s knocking about and play something catchy. And they also try and play some more indie alternative music, it might be quite awhile after it was actually released, but they still make the effort to promote it and put it on the air which is cool.
The presenters are a step up from 92.9, they still have completely pointless chatter but they interview a lot of celebs and spend time running around Perth so they talk to a lot of locals as they run competitions.
There are a lot of ads, ads just drive me nuts, I find it frustrating to listen to the radio at all, but when all I hear are ads and maybe one song in one journey I feel agitated, it would be cool if they mixed it up a bit and didn’t have a clump of music and then a clump of ads, it’s uneven and if listeners tune in at the wrong time, they can come away with a bad experience. But if it’s all your radio can tune into, you could do worse.
