Whats going on here? Is this Pub a business or a morgue? Came in with my wife to have a quick drink and we were only 2 of 4 people in the whole place! I remember when this place was called ‘The Duck Inn’ and it was pumping! The drinks were cold but unfortunately the ambiance was terrible! I have half a mind to buy the place and get it pumping again just so this Gem is not lost completely! C– IMSOSAD :(

I don’t think I’ve ever been to an Irish pub and not enjoyed the grub. Paddy’s was no different, generous portions, plenty of choice and great prices. Located near Subiaco oval, so a great location for a pre game feed. We ordered the share Plate to share obviously, and the flavours were incredible. My main was the garden salad, and I think I’m definitely starting to make friends with salad. I stole a couple of wedges off my sister New York styles wedges, and almost had to sit on my hands to stop from eating the whole plate! Love it, can’t wait to come back and try all the other things!

Came through for a pre-dinner quick pint. It was great that this place had Magners Cider on tap. Clean and green(not eco) didn’t quite feel authentically Irish pub-like but give it a few years for the cob-webs to form and walls to darken before it does.

I’ve been to this place on two occasions but only in the day. Unfortunate circumstances arose yesterday making my stay at Paddy’s the quant old style Irish pub not so magnificent. Firstly, no smoking except outside, where you are not allowed to take your drink. Secondly, no kids meal if you are not a child– WHATPOPPYCOCK! Thirdly, no eftpos purchases under $ 25. Fourth, to top it all off the scummy pup ATM which robs you of $ 2.50 won’t give you cash out unless it is divisible by $ 50. This meant that my lunch consisted of the house white and a pack of Twisties. The only times I have been to Paddy’s as mentioned above have been in the middle of the day, so I can’t vouch for night life. They have quiz nights every Monday and bands playing every week. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed when I went here and because I couldn’t smoke I sat on the booths inside and listened to the old locals planning their coffins to be made out of kegs.
